Rebreathers and vacuum sealed suits can prevent the toxin from making it into the bloodstream.

Indiscriminate deployment endangers allies and enemies alike.

Overexposure can cause long term complications, such as nerve damage, paralysis, or in very severe cases, death.

Enemies who use technology to compensate for their innate weaknesses are commonplace in the Galaxy. Some of them have overcome a great deal and even propelled themselves into positions of great importance, or gained notoriety for being stronger than they would be if their technology were to fail.

And that's why this inhibitor was designed. Power is not something that can simply be faked. By taking away the very thing that the weak rely on to bring them victory, the Sith Lord Xenro sought to correct a vile wrong evident in the Galaxy.

The proper order must be maintained, through chaos.
