Darth Xenro

Xenro

Nox Aeternum.
Born to a destitute family who worked with fuel on Malastare, Arcanus Veliirum was found by the Jedi while he was still young. He barely remembered anything about them by the time he was whisked away to Courscant to train, and he never developed the bond with them necessary to perceive an attachment. The Jedi at that time had forgone much of the ancient practice of forgoing all attachments, but they made the exception with this boy due to circumstance.

His parents were little more than slaves. Slavery itself was illegal in the Alliance, of course. They worked like dogs to pay off a debt that had been accrued over a long period of time by father, grandfather, and great grandfather. All of their attempts to gamble their debts away on Podraces ended in catastrophe. Arcanus' mother finally took it upon herself to contact the Jedi, in hopes that her son could be taken away from despair.

While the Jedi might have found no reason to bear the boy away from his mother, they fast learned of his gifts. By the time he could walk, the boy had already started to lift objects with his mind. They quickly agreed to train him, with the hopes that he might become a fine Jedi if he could be taught from such an impressionable age.

To a degree, they were right. Once he was of an age where he could read and write, Arcanus thirsted for knowledge. He spent long hours in the archives and read every tome, watched every holocron, and asked every question he was allowed. As a youngling, he was not well received among his peers. The child spent most of his time alone, and only interacted with others when he was prompted by the Knights and Masters. It became painfully obvious to the council that he lacked social skills and awareness, so they did their best to integrate him whenever they could.

At the time he was chosen by a Knight to become a Padawan, Arcanus was distant. They traveled multiple planets in the Mid Rim investigating a situation on orders from the Council, and Arcanus stumbled upon an old scroll that depicted the deeds of Darth Bane on Ruusan. The boy took leave from his master under the pretense of consulting the Great Library for more insight on their situation, and he visited the site where the Thought Bomb had stolen souls away from both Jedi and Sith.

While they had since been freed, Arcanus felt closer to the Netherworld of the Force than he had to anything else in his life.

He became fiendishly obsessed. The boy took on a pale look and his body began to wither from undernourishment. He slaved himself to the Holonet and to the restricted section of the archives, researching all that he could about the Sith, and their occult obsession with death and the dark side of the Force. He learned quickly to mask his body's degradation by wearing make up or drawing on the techniques he was reading about in the tomes. One of them gave him the ability to mask his presence with a false sense of warmth, and another allowed him to alter his appearance on a whim. Ultimately, the knowledge he gained from the Sith became his own obsession.

Arcanus knew that he could not remain with the Jedi. He had exhausted their finite resources, and the knowledge he had was not enough. Through Jedi training, he had become a master of telekinesis and learned to augment his body with the Force, but the mastery he desired was outside of that. When he returned to Ord Mantell some months after leaving his Master, she questioned him about why he had not maintained an open line of communication. It was not out of the ordinary for him to lose contact, so it took little effort to deceive her.

Aysha had always accepted Arcanus, and she was open and tolerant whenever he asked questions that made her uncomfortable. When he asked her "what makes you different?" she did not think anything of it.

When he poisoned her and splayed her open on the cold duracrete ground in Ord Mantell City, however, she was less calm. Revealed at last, the green eyed boy stared into her entrails and studied them with intense fascination. She cried out, and she pleaded with him to stop.

It was far too late.

When he left her there, organs discarded to the side of her corpse, Darth Xenro knew it was only a matter of time before his own body began to rot away. Her last gift to him was a sacrifice worthy of any Jedi, and a loneliness that only a true Sith could understand. He spent several years gathering more information, and he studied Alchemy and Magic among the Sith who arose in the wake of Krayt and Nihl's orders.

Tragedy struck, and a massive onslaught by the Alliance on Korriban forced Xenro to sleep, entombed for nearly a thousand years.

Now, his eyes have opened once again.

Howdy partner, Takin a lil look-see here, I can't help but notice you're trying to start off as a Sith Lord. While that's all fine and dandy, with the proper backing, 'fraid it might be a lil wiser for you to start as an apprentice.

See now, startin' as a lord is something that's restricted to the 'from other board' types, following me hombre?

So, Less you have a lil backing like that I'd mighty urge ya to reconsider
