Born into wealth and nobility, Nerissa is the oldest of four siblings, three girls and one boy. However, Nerissa's brother only came into the world later when she was much older. Though she grew up in luxury and wealth, Nerissa and her two sisters still lived under the intimidating rule of her controlling father.
Despite siring three daughters, none of them was male offspring, rendering their father without an heir, which he regularly reminded Nerissa and her sisters with offhanded comments. Always disappointed with them. It only grew worse as all three grew older and as Nerissa always argued against the cruelty of their father, always protecting her younger siblings from their father's wrath.
Eleanor, Nerissa's mother wasn't of much help either, always lecturing the girls on what it meant to be a proper lady and how not to act and what was expected of nobility.
The only moment where Nerissa's father, Duncan, showed any form of acknowledgement or even a sliver of pride, was doing many of his lessons, teaching Nerissa and her sisters the Force and the Art of the Blade. Learning about the Force and blade training was one of Nerissa's favourite things to do as it all came quite natural to her.
One day, Nerissa had just finished a holobook that was supposed to be filled with questionable content for nobility and Nerissa and her father had had a fight the day before about what would be expected of a proper Wyrmstone daughter. In the morning two letters were delivered to the estate.
One was from Sylvia Wyrmstone, Nerissa's aunt. She had the delightful news that she was pregnant with a boy. The first son in the Wyrmstone family of Nerissa's generation, considering her father had only sired three daughters. He was angry.
The second one was from an examination Nerissa had gone through the week before. It was standard, a medical check-up to see if everything was all right, but this time everything was not all right. They had written that the chance of Nerissa getting children one day was very, very low. It had her father snap. He got so angry with Nerissa and even though she argued back, he dragged her outside and screamed at her how she was so useless and he wouldn't be able to marry her off. And then he beat her.
After beating Nerissa, he forced himself into her head with the Force, mind-probing her. -

Nerissa is an intensely sadistic dark witch with primitive, almost animalistic tendencies when angered. In spite of these animalistic tendencies, she is highly intelligent but easily distracted. Like many members of House Wyrmstone, Nerissa has a fierce and dangerous temper, a trait that is also quite prominent with her cousin Nathaniel and aunt Sylvia.
Nerissa is extremely narcissistic and imperiously arrogant. She's very much a creation of the environment she grew up in and has shown an obsessive drive towards the superiority of Force Sensitivity beings over non-Force Sensitive beings. Nerissa takes immense pride in the aristocracy and the strong connection to the Force in her own family. On top of that, she rarely if ever take prisoners unless absolutely forced to do so.
Despite her cruel and sadistic personality, the dark witch is not incapable of feeling affection for others and appears to care about most of her siblings. However, hidden in the deepest and most vulnerable part of Nerissa's soul, lives a scarred and broken part of an entire childhood of living under a controlling, oppressive and disciplinary father who took physical and mental punishment as a part of teaching his values to his children.

Having been gifted with the classic "great good looks" like the rest of her family: The eldest sibling of four have a strong jaw, a thin mouth, and heavily lidded eyes with long eyelashes, standing 5'2" tall with long, thick, shiny dark curled hair. She carries herself with an air of regal arrogance baring common for members of House Wyrmstone and a sense of entitlement with an underlying, predatory spark to her deep, honey brown eyes.
Nerissa is often always clad in black cloth in the shape of a form-fitted black dress with detached sleeves held on to the top by way of strings. In an addition to her form-fitted cloth, a black lace-up corset caresses the slim and elegant frame of the woman, enhancing her captivating and feminine features. The billowing draped skirt has a rather simple embroid dress design, with the front of the skirt reaching the middle of the boots whereas the back reaches the lower part of the boots. The black boots themselves feature a detailed scalloped trim and a lace-up design with 2.5-inch sculpted heels, granting Nerissa a few more inches to her height. -

Art of the Blade.
Over the course of her upbringing, the sheer amount of ruthless punishing teachings from her father has moulded and shaped Nerissa into an impressive duelist and combative with the blade. Having originally found joy in the tenets of Makashi, she quickly adapted her style of fighting with the foundations of Djem So and Ataru. Nerissa incorporates the precision of Makashi with the flow and aggressive style of Ataru in order to keep her opponent on a constant defends.
Furthermore, Dun Möch isn't so much a combat style as it is a traditional Sith tactic as Dun Möch relies on utilizing psychological warfare, which Nerissa's sadistic nature finds great pleasure in utilizing taunts, through the exposure of her opponent's inner doubts and weaknesses, disrupting their concentration. However, as skilled and strong Nerissa is in the art of the blade, her defence lacks against the likes of blaster bolts and prolonged battles can put a strain on her.
The Art of the Force.
Nerissa is an immensely powerful and dangerous witch. Throughout her childhood, Nerissa showed a natural affinity to the Force and despite her Father's abusive punishment, Nerissa still showed impressive control over her own abilities. Like most other Force practitioners, she has a strong foundation of knowledge and is capable of physical augmentation and telekinesis. However, her true expertise lies with the Dark Arts of the Sith, and more importantly, Dathomirian Shadow Magick.
Nerissa is first and foremost, highly creative in ways to use her powers but does not shy away from dirty tricks in order to get the upper hand. Some of her favourite powers to use are that of Inflict Pain, Force Wound and Crucitorn as they wouldn't outright kill an opponent, but prolong the pain her victims and opponents would feel, as their pain helps to suppress her own internal pained Screams of her own broken soul.

Nerissa has always had a big fascination with knives as it forces the wielder to get up and personal. As such, she carries a beskar forged knife. Further equipment owned by the Dark Witch is a curved-hilt lightsaber with a simple crimson crystal along with a curved wooden wand she uses for various rituals.
While she knows how to fly starships and is even a quite proficient starfighter pilot, she rarely uses them for travel or fighting as she finds the travel time boring and space battles too impersonal for her taste.
