HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Ever since her return from the Netherworld, Kay had worked her shoppe alone. But business had gotten quite busy and she could no longer keep up on her own. So she purchased a loader droid to help her out and provide her with a bit of companionship. Ned-V, designated V for short in honour of her late husband Veiere Arenais , was programmed in galactic sign language given that he was non-vocal.
Trained in close combat, V was perfect to thwart any robbers or thieves that would attempt to target her shoppe. Having no enemies, his need to be her bodyguard was relatively small, so one blaster rifle was all that he'd need to protect her with.
If anything else, V serves as helpful companion.
