DESCRIPTION

Though the Galactic Empire is best known for its powerful Star Destroyers, such ships are expensive and difficult to procure for a faction like Mahporeem. As such, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has be forced to get creative with its capital ship procurement. One such example of this is the Nebulon Fire-class Light Carrier.

Constructed out of parts from a Nebulon-B2 frigate, a Quasar Fire-class cruiser and an Acclamator-class assault ship, the Nebulon Fire-class Light Carrier is able to support Mahporeem space and ground operations with ease, thanks to its large starfigher complement and ability to act as a troop carrier. It also boasts a number of turbolasers, laser cannons and concussion missile launchers for use during space combat.

That being said, the Nebulon Fire-class Light Carrier is a rather poor ship to ship combatant due to its relatively weak armor and small number of weapon emplacements, and much like the Vilifier-class Star Destroyer, must rely primarily on its starfighters to deal most of its damage.
