Naval Question

I was wondering a few things about the navy, since it seems to be a bit underground in terms of the Republic's tendencies *cough* Jedi *cough*

Anyways I was wondering if anyone would like to fill me in on what's going on with the Navy.

Also what rank do Navy officers have to start off and can I start commanding my own ship immediately or do I have to climb the ranks?

The Chief of Military makes all executive calls regarding the army, and the navy.
At this time, we are changing hands for the Chief of Military.

Depending on your character / storyline, there are multiple levels you can enter at. I would assume you're interested in a position with authority, so I would say either a chief or a lieutenant to start. Climbing ranks isn't hard when you collaborate with the other writers.

Depending on your preference, I don’t mind starting you off as Lieutenant Commander; controlling a corvette or frigate.

If you’d rather work as an aide to a senior officer, we can arrange that too.

God knows I'm miffed enough at the bad timing. So many LOAs put both its dev threads on a crawl. Half of it will be done soon, but the second dev thread needs a kick to finish itself. We already sacrificed our original length goal.
