Name: Nau'ur kad be Vizsla [Translated to: Forge of Vizsla]

Classification: A Blacksmith's Workshop

Location: Kol Atorn

Affiliation: Clan Vizsla; Grim Vizsla

Description:

  • Exterior: The Vizsla's Forge is a long ground floor building, spanning 30 meters in length and 15 meters in width. The height of the workshop is around 4 meters. It is secured by durasteel walls and a large front door which is big enough for larger materials to pass through. The backdoor is for emergency reasons.
  • Interior: It is a typical blacksmith workshop with all the contemporary technology such as power hammers and droids doing some of the lifting or minor jobs for time saving and convenience. On top of that, there are more traditional objects as well such as - handheld hammers of the different types and anvils. Of course, there are a few forges spread out across the vast space. Additionally there is a door leading to the basement in case of other emergencies.
  • Basement: The basement has two underground floors. The first floor is where refreshments are held along with sleeping mats and various different droid parts. The second floor is in case of emergency to be used to escape via a tunnel that leads 200 meters away north from the workshop into the woods of Kol Atorn.

History: This forge was firstly built by a Mandalorian exile from Clan Vizsla during the times of the Mandalorian Civil War between the Kyr'tsad and the Mandalorian Supercommandos. Fate or not, it was a Mandalorian from Clan Vizsla who had disagreed with the unnecessary bloodshed the Death Watch, led by Tor Vizsla, were committing upon their fellow Mandalorians despite the Mandalorian's desire to return to the ways of the crusaders. Just like Grim Vizsla.

Due to that, Grim has dedicated a part of the workshop's wall where it was engraved with large letters in Mando'a:

"The Death Watch is not the Death Watch."

It may seem illogical to those that did not understand its meaning but to those that did knew exactly what it meant - The Death Watch were not those they said to be nor supposed to be. They were not the Crusaders that they said they wanted to be as. Simply thugs with private agendas.

Intent: With the aim of 'ressurecting' Clan Vizsla, I have began a series of Codex submissions to enrich the lore for such a notorious clan. It will also serve its purpose for future forging threads where Vizslas are included in.
