Competitive and loyal, she will stand up for her friends, even if it means getting a bruise or two. A firm believer in tough love, she also finds a way to be friendly with those under her command. She's not superstitious and loves to poke fun at those who are. While she might be excitable outside of the cockpit, once behind the controls of a TIE her entire demeanor changes from that of friend and mentor to cold blooded killer. Cool and collected under pressure, she is able to almost anticipate the moves of her allies and enemies alike, giving her an edge when it comes to starfighter combat. Evidenced by her exceptional ability as a pilot, she has yet to claim the title of Ace though her skill rivals others who wear it. “Gnat” is an exceptional wingman, quick to react to threats and reads her allies just as well as the enemy, allowing her to seemingly read their minds when it comes down to the wire. Anticipating moves of both ally and enemy allow her to be a versatile asset in space combat. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Having spent much of her career in the Zero G environment of space, her in atmos flight skills are still decent but would be considered average at best. While survival trained, her body is smaller, necessitating more effort to perform difficult physical tasks such as carrying wounded comrades or shifting large hulks. Additionally, while she’s capable with a blaster, her accuracy would be described as average, her true talent lies behind the controls of a TIE rather than a blaster. [/SIZE]
- [SIZE=9pt]Natalie Caphen lived a relatively normal life, that is until she had a falling out with her parents. As all teenagers do, she went through a phase. Skipping class, hanging out with a rough crowd. She’d always been a bit of a rough and tumble gal, effectively labeling her a tomboy. It was only fitting that when it came to graduation she wasn’t terribly interested in pursuing additional education, despite her decent grades. Instead, she signed up for the First Order Starfighter Corps - initially beginning her career as a cadet, she excelled immediately. It was common for her to outdo even her male counterparts, showing them up on more than one occasion. Still early in her career, she’s become assigned to a young Officer named Nils Brenner’s command. Eventually forming the 181st Starfighter Wing as a part of the active forces of the First Order, she has quickly risen to the post of XO of the Wing, flying as wingman to the young ace. [/SIZE]
