- Description: Nairi Wasps are terrifying little black carapaced insects, with amber colored wings and an extended abdomen that ends in a poison sac and stinger.

- Distinctions: Drones are the males, and are typically the creatures encountered in the swarms. Females, on the other hand, have their stinger replaced with a large egg laying sac that allows entire swarms to be birthed in a matter of 48 hours. Females also have an extra set of wings to lift their extra weight when compared to the male drones

- Due to the Lady of Secrets' experiments, the venom that the Nairi Wasps produce and use to attack their prey is a powerful hallucinogenic based upon the pheromones created by the rhak-skuri. When injected into a victim, the venom induces extremely potent hallucinations of terror, paralyzing them in fear or sending them into an insane frenzy. The more a victim is stung, the stronger the effects and the longer they will last.
- Nairi Wasps are constantly hungry, and swarms can strip entire areas bare in an astounding rate of consumption. If the swarm is large enough, the flesh will be stripped from bones, plant matter will completely disappear... all that would be left in their wake are abandoned structures, bones, and barren land.
- Nairi Wasps can be kept at bay by clouds of smoke as they will immediately suffocate if they enter it, however, this is only a temporary advantage against them as once the smoke clears, the swarm will aggressively attack
- Nairi Wasps also are not that durable, being easily killed by a hard enough swat let alone a weapon

- Communication: Vibrating their wings at certain frequencies combined with pheromones, can understand commands given in the Sith language or through the dark side of the Force

- General behavior: Nairi Wasps operate with a hive mentality, with all drones working for the betterment of the hive and the queens that reside within. Drones are constantly going out to search for food or victims to sting, acting even more aggressively than other similar insects due to their Sithspawn nature. If the swarm grows large enough, they could be considered a small ecological disaster from how much they can consume and the deaths of those caught in a swarm.
Sometimes, when the Lady of Secrets is bored or in-between tests on a new research subject, Taeli will take requests from others within the Sith Empire for a new experimental Sithspawn. In this case, her beloved Fiolette made a request for something that certainly intrigued the Triumvir of Power to gather some viper wasps from Yavin IV and some rhak-skuri pheromone samples from Upekzar.
Using some mild Sith alchemy on the wasps, altering their structure and introducing the pheromones from the rhak-skuri into their venom, she created something that was both aggressive and ravenous for organic matter, an insect that would spread abject terror with a simple sting. The new creatures, dubbed Nairi Wasps by Taeli, can cause horrific and terrifying hallucinations with a simple sting of their tail. Worse still, they are able to consume any and all organic matter, acting like a cataclysmic act if large enough swarms sweep over an area, leaving it barren.
The last steps that needed to be done was an accelerated rate of egg laying and breeding for the females of the species, and then Taeli couldn't resist altering their looks. A black carapace and amber wings gave it a unique look, in her opinion, and small as they were, up close they would be terrifying by themselves for anyone who saw one. Like all Sithspawn, to make sure they didn't attack the Sith or their forces, they will follow any command they hear that is given in the Sith language or through the dark side of the Force.
