  • Very High resistance to energy, lightsabers, EMP/ION, and acid
  • Can come in different colors and designs
STRENGTHS
  • Very High Resistance To: This armor has the usual protections against energy and lightsabers, but it stands out in that it includes a higher resistance to EMP/ION, and acid.
  • High Resistance To: Sonic and magnets.
  • Shields: The armor has a port on the back which allows the wearer to attach a personal energy shield system.
  • Self-Repairing: The armor can repair itself over time, as well as clean itself. This is done by mimicking Vong robeskins, although the armor itself is not a living creature. Depending on how much damage is done, it can take anywhere from a few minutes (for small breaches or cuts) to a few hours (extensive damage that would normally require several hours or days of intensive repair work).
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited or No Resistances To: Cryo, Flame, and Disruptors.
  • Shield Port: The shield port located on the back of the suit is large, noticeable, and the only part of the suit that cannot repair itself. If it is damaged or destroyed, it will have to be replaced. In addition, the type of shield used must be specifically adapted to the suit - a skilled mechanic could perhaps modify a shield system to match it, but otherwise the wearer will have to purchase a compatible shield system from the same manufacturer as the armor.
  • Breakdown: If it must repair several times in a short period (such as sustaining multiple compromising hits during intense combat), the suit's self-repair will begin to malfunction, unable to keep up with the demand.
  • Mode Locked: This weakness only applies to the biots. In their case, the Naiad Armor is built into their Combat Form, and can only be used when they are in that configuration.
DESCRIPTION
To all things there is a season - that is Arrius Messala's philosophy. The Sith Lord specializes in creating tech which is meant for extremely specific situations and unique beings. Here, he has designed a suit of light armor tailored for a particular type of droid, to augment their strengths and make up for their shortcomings. But a mass-produced variation can be worn by others as well, especially if they are heading into a scenario where the Naiad Armor is suited to their needs.

"Depending on how much damage is done, it can take anywhere from a few minutes (for small breaches or cuts) to a few hours (extensive damage that would normally require several hours or days of intensive repair work)."

And to Weaknesses:
"If it must repair several times in a short period (such as sustaining multiple compromising hits during intense combat), the suit's self-repair will begin to malfunction, unable to keep up with the demand."
