Private Naboo Is Not Taboo!

Naboo.

Willow and Ivy had heard of the world. They had seen pictures and videos that some had shown her on their datapads. It looked gorgeous; stunning even! And once they were told that they'd be travelling there, it was quite difficult to hide their excitement.

"I can't believe it! We're really going there!"

"I know, Willow! I'm so excited! I don't even think that I can sleep!"

"If we're allowed, we should go shopping! Maybe we can find some pretty fabrics!"

"Or pretty jewelry!"

"What is it with you and jewelry lately? We can't draw too much attention to ourselves, Ivy. Remember?"

Ivy sighed a little as she intertwined her fingers with her sister's. "I know. Bad things could happen."

"And we want to make friends."

"And we want to make friends..." Ivy repeated. She was the more outgoing of the two, while Willow was a bit more reserved. But they each had their reasons, and they both promised that they wouldn't look into their futures again.

Not after the last time...

Their transport with Broka's entourage had arrived late at night. Laying on a king sized bed in an expensive hotel room, the twins stared up at the ceiling, hoping that they'd fall asleep soon.

They were allowed to shop in the early morning and the twins were eager to not miss a single moment of their free time.

Coming back to Naboo, Teyla found that there were some days when it was still hard to find the will to face the coming morning sun after all that her and her family had lost, days where she still fell apart. While she was away with Baros and Valere trying to hunt down the TBK, she'd found it much easier to file all of that pain away in a hidden place in the back of her mind, distracted enough by immediate problems that it made it almost impossible to have to deal with the reality of what would be waiting for her when she came home.

There were many pieces of the puzzle to pick up upon her return, though Alora had taken up the brunt of most of it, shouldering their parents political responsibilities and setting into motion the rebuilding of their ancestral Estate that had been burnt down in the fire. Now that Teyla was back however, it was her turn to get underneath it all and help out her family. When she was not dividing her time between taking care of her children and tending to her Jedi training, Teyla was working hand in hand with her parents advisors to take on the PR role of it all, showcasing that the Ee'everwest sisters were not paralyzed by this tragedy, but stood together as a united front and stronger than ever, to dissuade their rivals from thinking they could get a foot in the door.

It was exhausting.

"How much longer?" Teyla asked politely to the man sitting next to her, his tanned face and large green eyes turning to glance at her. "A few more photos and we'll be finished. They'd like to include the children for the next ones." he said simply, looking down at his datapad. Valsi Corrik had been introduced to her by Alora, the middle aged Nabooian had once served their Mother and Father but resigned when he'd been called to serve on the newly deceased Queen's council. In need of a job, and having served them faithfully in the past, Alora had reinstated the man as their chief liaison, an ever present shadow.

"Very good."

Teyla ran her fingers through her dark brown hair that was left loose down her back, after having been painfully pinned up for the last three hours. Sera had taken Marcus and Karina home, the children being more than exhausted from the days activities, while she took a small reprieve to peruse through Theed's marketplace. There wasn't much room for idle time in her life currently, but when there was, she took those brief opportunities for distraction to help take her mind off of thoughts that made her heart ache. At least for a time.

What she didn't expect was to see the face... or rather, faces, that starkly reminded her of one of her more recent heartbreaks and longings.

What had brought them here?

Teyla stopped in her tracks and stared at the twins, their presence causing Teyla to momentarily freeze, recalling their prediction. She swallowed softly and took a deep breath to regain her composure, unclenching a fist she hadn't realized she'd made and stretching out her fingers before tentatively approaching the pair.

"This is an unexpected surprise." Teyla said, speaking up softly and offering them each a genuine smile.

It was difficult for the twins to hide their eagerness and excitement as soon as they entered the marketplace. It was almost as though they were floating on cloud nine, their footsteps quick and short as they took it all in. So many colours greeted them, so many smells and sounds filled their noses and ears. It was like a dream.

The guards keeping pace with them reminded them of the reality in their situation. Those guards weren't only to keep anyone from harming or kidnapping the twins, but also to keep them from trying to run away, themselves. Some freedoms they had earned through their work and loyalty to Broka. But they weren't free to do whatever they wanted yet. Even travel was restricted to them.

But one day that'll change...

A familiar face interrupted their glee as they neared a tent filled with dolls. Ivy looked to Teyla Sal-Soren Teyla Sal-Soren first, a mere moment before Willow recognized her. "Unexpected indeed. Hello. Where's your friend? Is he here too, or...?" It was a nudging by Ivy's elbow that got her to stop talking.

"What brought you here today? Have you come to look for a doll too?"
