OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The structure is officially known as the "N&Z Umbrella Corporation Field Headquarters, Mahporeem Branch", but is often referred to unofficially by the name of "Collaboration Tower".
  • Classification: Corporate Headquarters.
  • Location: Corrox, Mahporeem.
  • Affiliation: The N&Z Umbrella Corporation is the primary owner and the main tenet of the building, though the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant also maintains a considerable stake in the ownership of the building as well.
  • Accessibility: The Collaboration Tower makes no attempt to hide or mask its presence, and large sections of it are fully open and accessible to the general public. Others parts of the building, however, are severely restricted, requiring proper authorization from the higher ups at N&Z Umbrella Corporation to access.
  • Description: Towering above the skyline of Corrox is the N&Z Umbrella Corporation Field Headquarters, Mahporeem Branch, though the structure is far more commonly referred to by its nickname of Collaboration Tower. Created at the behest of N&Z Umbrella Corporation, Collaboration Tower serves as the main point of contact for N&Z Umbrella Corporation, housing tens of thousands of employees, visitors and guards at any given time. While many sections of the building are open to the general public, much of what goes on inside of Collaboration Tower remains something of a mystery, with large chunks of the building off limits to anyone without proper access. The build's impressive duracrete facade and complete and utter lack of windows only serves to heighten its mystique, and the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant refuses to comment upon the inner workings of the building. What is known is that Collaboration Tower remains a critically important structure for both N&Z Umbrella Corporation and the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, and that there never seems to be enough workers going around for what happens inside the tower...
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Like most comparable skyscrapers, Collaboration Tower is home to a number of different amenities, such as office and commercial space, conference rooms, an employee cafeteria, a medbay and a company store. Collaboration Tower even has an N&Z Umbrella Corporation Museum that offers guided tours to members of the general public.
  • However, the most impressive parts of Collaboration Tower are the areas that are not open to the general public, such as the company archives, communications array and testing facilities for N&Z’s numerous projects and products.
SECURITY
  • Maximum: For a supposedly civilian building, Collaboration Tower maintains a high degree of security. Duracrete security planters filled with Razor Thistle line the entrance to the building, while armed guards, surveillance cameras and security scanners occupy nearly every square inch of the interior of the building. It is rumored that the more restricted areas of the tower house silent alarms, sentry turrets, laser gates and blast doors, making efforts to infiltrate the building quite difficult. Many areas of Collaboration Tower require the use of Code Cylinders to access, preventing unauthorized users from entering or exiting certain locations. Perhaps the most intriguing feature of Collaboration Tower is the fact that the building doesn't have any windows at all, as the building is hermitically sealed in the event that it comes under attack. The large square openings around the perimeter of the building are believed to house hidden laser cannons or turbolasers, though this remains unsubstantiated information.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

When the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant exited its period of self imposed isolation, it was decided to aggressively pursue business deals with as many companies and factions as possible, to rectify the issues that had forced Mahporeem to open up to the galaxy in the first place. One of Mahporeem's first business partners outside of the Imperial Confederation was N&Z Umbrella Corporation, something that the Imperial Remnant is unlikely to forget any time soon.

To show their appreciation toward the company and to support such a staunch ally of the Imperial Confederation, Mahporeem has decided to construct N&Z their very on field headquarters on the planet, leading to the creation of the N&Z Umbrella Corporation Field Headquarters, Mahporeem Branch. Of course, such a name is quite often a mouthful to say, so most people refer to the building by its unofficial nickname of Collaboration Tower.

Such a name is quite appropriate for the building, for it is here that many of the products created by Mahporeem and N&Z Umbrella Corporation are created, ostensibly in the pursuit of power and profit. Though many parts of the building are open to the general parts, Collaboration Tower still projects an air of mystery and oppression as the Imperial Remnant remains tight lipped about many of the happenings that go on inside the building.

For many of Mahporeem's inhabitants, Collaboration Tower remains an enigma, one that is unlikely to be solved or revealed anytime soon. That, of course, is just the way the Imperial Remnant and N&Z Umbrella Corporation would like to keep things...

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Castle Kark.
  • Classification: Domicile.
  • Location: Munto Codru.
  • Affiliation: Karkosuchus Karkosuchus .
  • Accessibility: Due to its location within the mountains of Munto Codru, Castle Kark is mostly unaccessible and its existence is only known to Karkosuchus Karkosuchus and anyone he chooses to tell.
  • Description: As part as his employment with the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, Karkosuchus Karkosuchus was granted a reward of his choosing, which he decided should be an estate on the rugged mountain planet of Munto Codru. Being a valued ally of the Imperial Remnant, Mahporeem agreed to his request, constructing "Castle Kark" at his bequest. Nestled in an undisclosed location on the planet, Castle Kark serves as both a secondary residence and safehouse for Karkosuchus Karkosuchus .
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Like any luxury housing, Castle Kark is equipped with a range of features that someone like Karkosuchus Karkosuchus would find useful, including a master bedroom, entertainment suite, full sized kitchen, refresher and bathroom, laundry room and even an indoor swimming pool. Castle Kark also contains within it an armory, MedBay, simulation room and Comm Station for sending and receiving encrypted transmissions. Castle Kark is essentially a mercenary's dream house, having ever possible amenity that someone in Karkosuchus Karkosuchus 's line of work could ever want or ask for. The estate is also large enough to house several guests at once, or multiple prisoners, also being furnished with a number of Force Cages and other containment units. Should the location ever be compromised for any reason, a secret escape tunnel leads into the mountains and away from the house.
SECURITY
  • Maximum: For a domicile, Castle Kark is quite heavily defended and fortified, serving as a capable safehouse for Karkosuchus Karkosuchus should he ever come under attack or be threatened by forces out of his control. The house itself is constructed mainly out of Permacrete and Duracrete, making it quite resistant to damage, while its windows are constructed from Glasteel, ensuring that Karkosuchus Karkosuchus is protected no matter where he might be standing. The house is further armed with a number of different security features, including automated sentry guns, retractable blast doors, security scanners and a Laser-Link Security Fence. The house also comes with a DT-125 Magna Safe and a Scrap Hound to further enhance Karkosuchus Karkosuchus 's safety when he is inside Castle Kark. Of course, the house's most potent security feature is its remote location, known only to Karkosuchus Karkosuchus , a select few inside the Imperial Remnant and anyone that the mercenary has decided to tell about its existence.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant continues to expand its presence across the galaxy, it has come to increasingly rely on "outside contractors", or mercenaries, to fulfill its needs. On such mercenary is the alien known as Karkosuchus Karkosuchus , who has on a number of done important work for the Imperial Remnant, quickly becoming a valued asset for Mahporeem.

As part of his payment, Karkosuchus Karkosuchus requested an estate on the planet of Munto Codru, one that was private and known only to him and those in his inner circle. Eager to continue working with him, and looking to ensure that they continued to make good on their investment in Karkosuchus Karkosuchus , the Imperial Remnant readily agreed, constructing the so called "Castle Kark" for Karkosuchus Karkosuchus .

Part luxury housing and part safe house, Castle Kark was constructed as an important base of operations for Karkosuchus Karkosuchus , being capable of acting as a "home away from home" for the alien mercenary. While fully furnished out as a place for Karkosuchus Karkosuchus to live, Castle Kark also numerous military functions that Karkosuchus Karkosuchus would find useful, allowing him to conduct his business away from prying eyes or to lay low should he have a large amount of heat on him.

It is hoped that Castle Kark will continue to convince Karkosuchus Karkosuchus to work for the Imperial Remnant for the foreseeable future, and for him to attract other mercenaries to the Imperial cause. After all, if he is able to obtain such a lovely home, why shouldn't others receive the same thing, provided that they put their skills and talents to good use for the Imperial Remnant?
