Description: After losing a duel to a Jedi Padawan on the surface of Balmorra who fought with the mighty lightsaber technique, Vaapad, Mullarus' lost two fingers and his first lightsaber. In the past, Mullarus practiced fighting with a different style of lightsaber: the rare design known as the Crossguard Lightsaber. Though most Crossguard Sabers are the same length as a normal lightsaber, just with a crossguard of intersecting blades on the inside, Mullarus designed his like a Greatsword. The hilt is about a half a foot longer than a normal lightsaber, also making it slightly heavier. While it can be used one-handed like a normal lightsaber, with the extra training and practice Mullarus had to put in to master wielding a blade with a crossguard you cannot touch, it has proven much safer and more effective to wield the weapon with both hands as to control it's longer-than-average blade.
The lightsaber itself, dubbed The Bleeding Cross, was constructed on Mullarus' homeworld of Anaxes. He returned to his grandfather's old home, where he himself had first trained in the ways of the Sith under him. He raided his grandfather's old home in search of the proper components for the lightsaber, which he was able to find, almost as if his old master and grandfather had left enough materials there on purpose, including a synthetic violet-colored crystal. It took days, actually, for the Sith Apprentice to construct this lightsaber completely. He had to consult numerous holocrons about lightsaber contruction, as well as the construction of this exotic lightsaber design, in order to produce such an elegant and gorgeous design.
