STRENGTHS
- Raining Blaster Bolts: The rotary blaster cannon fires bolts rapidly, repeatedly raining down hoth fire upon the enemy. Overwhelming and speedy. Hence the name "Meteor Shower."
- In For the Long Haul: The ammunition capacity for the MS-01 is incredible. A whopping 10,000 bolts on par with the speedy rate of fire.
- In a Target Far, Far Away: While still not any kind of sniper rifle, the MS-01 has an excellent range. This makes the rotary blaster cannon excellent in battle, even from some distance.
WEAKNESSES
- Quantity Over Quality: The rate of fire might be excellent, but the damage is average. Standard blaster bolts that are measly against good armor and hulls.
- Heave Hoh: The MS-01 is a boi boi. Large and heavy, it is a cumbersome burden to lug around in battle.
- Aim? What's That?: Despite its range, the MS-01 fires so rapidly that aim is secondary. This is not a precision blaster, this is a "repeatedly fire until you actually hit something" blaster.
DESCRIPTION
A young engineer who spent many years learning and mastering technology and the mechanical arts, Gwyneira Krayt had hoped to use her skills and abilities in crafting to help her fellow Vod in The Mandalorian Enclave. She set up a contract, and she got to work creating a small handful of weapons to aid her brothers and sisters.
Her work of art - a small unit of handheld rotary blaster cannons.
With half a dozen small cannons coiled around a cooling unit, the rotating barrel has a remarkable rate of fire. Earning the name "Meteor Shower," this is a remarkable rapid fire tool for the battlefield with great range and a hefty amount of ammunition to boot.
Of course, such a powerful weapon can come with drawbacks. The large size and boisterous weight make it difficult to lug around the cannon, using a chainsaw grip to heave it around. On top of this, the rapid fire is only made up by the lowered ability to aim with stability and marksmanship. The damage output of the amber bolts are average as well, not anything to write home about.
Regardless, the MS-01 is a remarkable rapid fire weapon capable of devastating damage in the hands of the skilled Mandalorians who are to weild them.
