Government: The government has been overthrown. It is simply anarchy.
Population: 9.5 billion.
Demonym: Mortuvians.

Major Locations: Immortum City. An incredibly large city, similar to the size of Coruscant. It takes up about 90% of the planet.
Culture: There is practically no culture.
Technology: The same as any other planet, really. Anything someone on Coruscant would have, they have here.
History: The planet was discovered by a Mon Calamari explorer who went by the name "Mortuum Sake. Over an incredible period of time, a large, mega-city was built, spanning all over the planet. Of course, this took hundreds of years to complete. Around that time, the planet began producing weapons and booze. With a simple, Federal Republic system, the planet was capable of surviving.
However, at an unknown period in time, a deadly virus known as the "Rabidus Virus." The virus essentially shut down the body, the heart no longer beating, the only thing keeping them alive is the brain. Those infected were unable to communicate and craved flesh. One who was bitten would be infected by the Rabidus Virus.
Unable to stop the virus, the government simply stopped existing. The survivors were left hungry and nearly defenseless, hardly able to defend themselves from the virus. Most government officials evacuated the planet as the virus began to spread, abandoning their citizens to die in the aftermath.
