- Enhanced Data Processing and Intelligence Programming - MORGAUSE has been designed to handle immense amounts of data inputs, cycling through and processing them far faster than an organic sentient being could. She is able to organize and document experiments, control security, and other automated systems, provide tactical/scientific advice, and otherwise assist in whatever capacity the Lady of Secrets requires of her.
- Adaptive Learning Matrix - MORGAUSE is able to learn as she observes, processing and storing experiences to better anticipate and assist in projects and operations.
- Self-Updating - MORGAUSE, while a semi-shackled AI, is able to update and police her own systems, purging obsolete coding and attempts to change her coding without her consent or the Lady of Secrets' order.
- Advanced AI - Due to her design, MORGAUSE is able to handle immense amounts of data on a daily basis, easily processing, analyzing, and providing analysis and assistance to the Lady of Secrets.
- Always Learning, Always Curious - Taking a leaf from the Lady of Secrets herself, MORGAUSE is constantly learning and processing experiences, wishing to expand her memory and knowledge on all subjects being pursued by the Lady of Secrets and her staff.
- Biometric and Voice Keyed Security - To stop slicers from attempting even accessing her functions, the Lady of Secrets took to heart the lessons learned from Dubrillion. For any access to the core or functions, one needs to provide approved biometric routines and their voice must be authenticated, with authorization provided by Taeli's own thumbprint as confirmation.
- EMP - If an EMP or Ion device is trigger near enough to her AI Core, it will disable MORGAUSE until Taeli herself can go down to the Core and restore her.
- Multitasking - While she is capable of handling vast amounts of data inputs, MORGAUSE can only focus on a few things at a time. If she is running combat and tactical operations and predictions, she will be unavailable to assist with other tasks and vice versa.
- Questioning - Because the Lady of Secrets wanted the AI to be somewhat free in her thinking, it does mean she can say no to people and refuse commands she does not feel are in the best interests of the Lady of Secrets or her staff, even if those commands come from the Lady of Secrets or staff.
With the near completion of the Elidibus Project, Taeli Raaf faced a decision. Like the Emperor and his Shadow Hand, she desired to have an artificial intelligence integrated into the ship. However, she was extremely wary of using anything based on the old AXIOS system like the original AQUILA AI, especially after the attempted hack of the AI during the Battle of Dubrillion. To that end, she and her engineers of Aurora Industries began designing their own AI, called MORGAUSE by Taeli.
Basing the initial personality matrix off of scans of her own brain, Taeli and her engineers began constructing the specific programming to bring the AI to operation. Her Anomid engineers introduced advanced learning and data processing code, allowing MORGAUSE the abiility to learn from her experiences and assist in whatever way the staff, crew, or the Lady of Secrets required of her. The Anomids also introduced code that would allow the AI to self-update herself, removing obsolete code and enhancing her ability to hinder attempts at slicing into her.
Taeli desired the AI to have some measure of free will, so only some shackles were placed on MORGAUSE to make sure she would remain loyal to the Lady of Secrets and the Sith, but otherwise, she would be allowed to grow and adapt much like a normal sentient being. The result was an AI happy to serve in both a tactical capacity, and as an assistant in the experiments performed by Taeli and her cadre of scientists, engineers, and alchemists.
The AI core was placed inside an Agrinium-Dallorian Alloy casing, along with advanced biometric and voice-print security to make sure no one unauthorized by Taeli could access MORGAUSE. Due to this being Aurora's first AI, and because she was designed to only operate on the Elidibus, the AI core is rather large and is incapable of being moved from the ship she will be installed on.
