More Than Bar Buddies

Not paying attention,Delila thought her first visitor was indeed the Galan. No such luck, the annoying former commander had to make her appearance. It figured. Sitting up on the hard bed, she looked the overly dressed woman over. Naturally, more high society folks had come to mock her. Why Siobhan didn't bring the old lady she had punched was a mystery, judging from the womans new outfit it looked as if they would be cozy together.

"Fine until I came to this hell hole planet." Words barely finished, the pregnant Galan came in. Raising her kid in this place? Was she that far along? At least the Kai glare wasnt on her- yet. "Whats going on? Crazy bionic woman drugged me then I punched an old lady that owns half the planet."

Your choice to come here. But you'll be off now and can go save the Galaxy, Siobhan thought a bit bitterly. In all fairness, Delila had plenty of reasons to be pissed at her! "You can thank me for making sure the old lady, a countess, isn't gonna press charges against you. Knowing where the dirty laundry is pays off," Siobhan responded flatly. Yes, she was being a bit of a queen!

Eyes turned towards the Galan...the evidently pregnant one. Now that was a revelation to Siobhan. She managed a smile, though she was feeling anything but chipper. "Err, congrats on the baby! I'm sure you and Judah will be great parents together. I guess you two wanna be alone," she spoke awkwardly. She would have liked to say more and spend more time with the mermaid, but she doubted Delila would want her around. Besides, Siobhan was feeling just a bit irritated herself.

"Your release has been arranged. You're free to get off the planet," she said as an aside to Delila and turned to head out.

Hey, she wasn't showing that much!

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," hands held up in a time-out gesture. "Delila Castillon - punching old ladies?!" Glare leveled on her red-haired BFF then back to Siobhan. "And you, hold up. What the kark is this about drugging?!" Arms motioned to each of them to move along as they wound their way outside of the jail cell. She did not understand why Dells was dawdling along when freedom was involved.

"Let me grovel at your feet for busting me out then, Lady Kerrigan"

Very childish, sure. Especially when Thessa was trying to break up the situation and make everyone see the light. Was Delila being a bit of a jerk toward Siobhan? Sure, but she started it.Sensing the impatience of the mermaid, Delila collected the things she came in with from the guard. She was waiting til they moved down the hall a little bit before she explained her actions about punching old ladies. Not her proudest moment to be sure.

"Its a long story. I'll tell you both outside since....uh...the space elves around here may not like my telling of it."

"Not asking you to grovel. Or show gratitude, Castillon," Siobhan responded flatly. Sure there's a hell hole in dire need of your explosive heroics somewhere. Or some oppressed need saving. For all the good that'll achieve, she thought rather bitchily, but then she was not in the mood to stick around for a chat.

"I heard the details," she responded, She had not liked the Countess anyway. Of course the Cadalthors would try to get back at Firemane somehow, now that they had revealed the hold they had over them but who cared. If they tried anything they would be crushed like little bugs.

"I spiked Delila's drink to make her get some sleep, actual one, not in some hell hole, and no, nothing beyond that happened before you ask," Siobhan answered Thessa's question after she had led them out of the prison, and while some elves shot glared at the 'red-maned human monkeigh' they gave them no trouble. After all, they had a strong instinct for survival!

"Thank the STARS I am only having one," she muttered, fingers coming up to massage her lower back as the trio made it successfully outside of the elf-jail. "Enough, the both of you. My. God."

She really wanted that froyo right about now.

"Kerrigan, you shoulda known better mixing drinks and drugs with anyone. I don't care where it was or how many or why. Last time we went out you saw what happened with Delila...well, all of us." She turned to the other explosive-happy member in their group.

"And you, Delila Castillon, I don't know what's going on between you and Kerrigan, but ya'll need to work it out. And really, an old lady? Why don't you start at the beginning, or should I not bring you around to see my mom anymore?" A single driftwood brow rose as she kept her gaze level with the freshly, freed inmate.

Delila wanted to fight Kerrigan some more. Maybe strangle the woman. The redhead would have did both if Thessa wasn't pregnant. She imagined her friend already had enough stress in her life and didn't need anything added to that - like prying grown women apart as they tried to kill one another. Walking in the sunshine was nice though. No bars, no cages. Freedom was pretty nice. Now she just had to get off Kaeshana and never come back.

"I would never punch your mother Thee." Delila supposed she had to spill the beans. "I was wandering around and I accidentally bumped into her. So I go to apologize and before I do she goes off on me. Some pretty deep insults....Anyways, I lost my cool because I was already angry and punched her. Knocked her out. I didn't quite mean to do it. It was like...watching a holovid or something."

Delila shrugged.

"Now here I am....and hopefully not for long. Certainly no desire to come back."

It would probably end extremely unsuccessfully for Delila if she tried to fight Siobhan, no matter how much she wanted to strangle her. However, the mermaid's presence would fortunately prevent violence. "Your choice whether to come back or not. No one's forcing you," Siobhan replied simply, not in the mood for a long talk. Dellila wanted to leave, so she could. Siobhan was doing just peachey with her life on Kaeshana without her. Moreover, the Countess might feel vengeful and have some thugs accost her if she came back. "Goodbye," briefly she turned her gaze back to Thessa.

"You're right. Sorry you had to come over here. Good luck with the baby. Sure you and Judah will be great together. Safe travelling," with that she turned and moved to walk away. Not dramatically running away in a rage, but not moving extra slow so that someone could easily catch up with her either. She did have an audience at the ziggurat, relating to the weapons Firemane supplied the Eldorai with.

The Force flowed through her and she harnessed its energies, sinking deeply into it and letting them strengthen her, then abruptly she leapt high into the air and propelled herself upward, the ground trembling beneath her. She shot through the sky until everything down on the ground seemed so small to her. Cowardly and selfish? Probably, but then that was what Siobhan was. Considering the fact that air traffic was getting quite heavy, perhaps flying was not the smartest idea, but on the flip side she could fly very high and above all fast. Besides, she could use the force training...at worst she would not have the strength and end up in freefall! There was a strong wind and a palpable chill in the air, her muscles tensed under it, but she surged onward, taking off into the sky.

Aaaaaaand Kerrigan was now a speck in the sky. Neck tilted at an uncomfortable angle. "Frakkin' forcies." Still, she couldn't wipe that awed look off her scale-speckled face. What they did was terrifying. "So you probably don't wanna be on that one's bad side for long."

The Galan rolled her shoulders and tilted her neck back to a more comfortable and level-angle. "So...uh. You wanna talk about this or did you just want to leave?" She didn't know what to expect from Dells. They had been through a lot. Whether her friend wanted to vent or just take off and have some alone time to mull things over, she would understand.

@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] | @[member="Thessa Kai"]

"That....was weird."

Delila wasn't sure what she wanted to do. A public stoning was certainly in the works, no doubt her once former friend Siobhan would be at the forefront. It was probably best to leave. After all, she had to visit her storage locker at her parents home and sell the ultrachrome that had been raided to pay Thessa back for her bail money. Wasn't like she needed the armor anyways. It was probably time to show her appreciation. Delila stopped and hugged her scaled friend tightly. She cut it short, worried about squishing the baby.

"Thank you Thee...you don't have to come but you did. Lets just go.." Looking at her friend as they moved to the spaceport, a bit of conversation she remembered popped into her brain."So how were you so close to here? You said it was a long story."

Delila found it sad she didn't even know where her best friend lived! Then again, Thessa had been busy building a family....wasn't as if shooting Sith and flying around in X-Wings were high priorities at this point in their lives.

Miles away and presumably some time later, deep in the heart of the city, Siobhan descended from the sky, landing close to the gianz ziggurat - or big white stone building - which combined temple, seat of government and palace in one. Here the women that held dominion over the Eldorai held court, some men could be seen doing menial tasks.

A long tunnel, which had been newly cut when Siobhan had gone on her first visit to Kaeshana, back with Jedi Master Phylis Alince, back in the day when the Protectorate had been a power in the Galaxy, could be seen, leading right into the impressive super structure and she walked up to the entrance. Eldorai were everywhere, mainly females, some stopping in their tracks and shooting her glances, their nature varying, though she paid them no mind. A procession of Eldorai clad in expensive vestments could be seen coming out of one of the gates, bearing sacred relics dedicated to their Goddess Ashira, led by a priestess.

Siobhan knew their Goddess to be a sham, but no matter. Standing at the entrance were three Angelii, all dressed in ceremonial armour, two of them with helmets which covered their heads and bearing halberds that blocked the way, though they stepped aside as Siobhan approached, but still remained vigilant and watchful. Their leader stepped forward and saluted with her fist over her heart, it was Kaida Taldir, who since her departure from the Protectorate had rejoined the Angelii and hopefully become less whiny. Her armour was more ornate than that of her sisters in battle, sign of her more elevated rank, and at her side she carried a lightsabre. The hand she had lost on Gehenna had been replaced with a bionic, fortunately she had not been deprived of an ear because that would be shameful!

"Lady Kerrigan, please follow us, the Overseer and the Archon are expecting you. They await your report," she spoke formally. She still really disliked her former commander.

"Lead the way," Siobhan responded and walked up ahead, the Angelii officer following at her side. "I hear you investigated the attack at Vaenia Island," she spoke as they walked through a corridor. The attack being the one that had taken place when Judah was collecting samples. "Dig anything up?"

"Investigation's ongoing, a few Dark Eldorai sympathisers have been captured. Connected to one of the houses minor. I'm not at liberty to say more," Kaida responded. "Firemane will be the first to be informed. After all, we like our dear human friends who provide us with bolters."

"Everyone likes them. Except 'small elite groups'," Siobhan quipped.

Kaida eyed her curiously. "There has been some talk about a...situation with the Countess of Raeth. At least that is the word."

"You may think that, but I couldn't possibly comment on it," Siobhan responded enigmatically, eyeing some ladies emerging from an adjacent corridor. One of them, she remembered from one of Anya's briefings, a Cadalthor as well, for the clan was extensive. In other words a relative of the old lady Delila had beaten up. The aristo shot her a hostile scowl before looking as haughty as any elf, a pose and stance Siobhan matched. Try something and you won't have enough time to regret it, Siobhan thought.

"Of course. How could I think otherwise," Kaida responded with some snark though Siobhan was not paying her any attention. For a moment as her thoughts drifted back to Delila she felt something like...regret.

They had been through a lot, Delila had been a good friend. Her best perhaps.

Then she shook that train of thought off and strode into the great hall as Kaida gave a short bow and announced her. There was business ahead. No time for regret. Contrary to what one might think, Siobhan had no desire to stone Delila....as pissed off as she was. In fact, she would still break the bones of any Eldorai who tried.

But...no time for that now.

She strolled along to the spaceport with her friend in tow. "Well, it's not that long of a story. Judah's been fairly protective lately - which, I really appreciate - but I just needed some air, y'know? I can't just flip the switch of motherhood on. I miss the cockpit of my X-wing too much. So, I uh, took the ol' bird out for a fun flight." She honestly didn't know if Dells would side with Judah or her on this one. She didn't want to be reckless with her baby but she also wanted to continue to live.

Fingers dug inside her pocket as she took out some credits for Dells. "Sorry I can't squish you with the baby and I in the canopy. This should be enough to cover public-transport. But Delila. Whatever it is going on with Kerrigan, you guys are a team. You gotta make it right. Life's too short to hold a grudge." Stuffing her hands back in her pockets, she rocked back and forth on her heals, keeping her gaze locked with Dells.

Delila nodded slowly, listening to her friend. The pair had stopped outside the hangar and spaceport, warm breeze and sunshine beating down on them both. If it wasn't for her bad experiences, Delila would have to save the planet was actually pleasant. Turning to look at the Galan, Delila wasn't sure what to say. She had zero experience with the situation, well maybe the marriage, but it was quite clear how that turned out.

"I imagine its hard Kid, I couldn't imagine being a wife and now staring down being a mother. You'll find a way....just dont be too hard on the guy, at least he cares."

Hugging her friend again, Delila returned the credits. She had enough fare for home anyways. It had been paying bail was the problem.

"Keep it, I got it. Besides, diapers are expensive." Sighing, she turned serious."The stuff between Kerrigan and I will work out, provided we don't kill one another in the meantime. We're both slow to forgive. With some time we'll be laughing and blowing up planets together like nothing ever happened."

@[member="Delila Castillon"]

Hugging her friend again she finally released the redhead.

"Thanks Dells, your words of wisdom mean a lot." Grinning with sincerity in her gaze, she made no move to accept the credits back. "Hey, didn't I tell you? Judah's loaded. Keep it. And keep the planet blowing-up away from my future children." Moving away before her stubborn friend could argue further, she gave one last wave of goodbye before disappearing into the traveling crowds.
