- Like cloaking equipment in general, it creates a force field around the user and hides it from eyes, sensors, scanners and the Force. The energy field is based on refractive technology.
- The device can be built into, for example, a belt, armour, or an electronic device worn by the user.
- Thanks to the HPI biochip compatibility, the cloaking device can be switched on and off with thoughts.
- The force-field appears directly around the user's body, but can spread to the weapons which are with the user, so they can even hide them if they aren't more than half a metre away from the user, and if the weapons are in contact with the user.
- The force-field also dampen the sounds, making it even easier to camouflage and stealth.
- The force-field absorbs the heat emitted or, even in a warm environment, masks that the wearer is cooler than the environment. It also obscures and shields radio waves, so communication is not perceptible either.
- It also absorbs and shields the emitted radiation and energy signals, thanks to which it can perfectly disguise itself and the user against the technologies, because the scanners and sensors cannot detect the user.

- Perfect Cloaking: The device provides perfect cloaking when activated; that is, the user cannot be perceived with the naked eye, with technology, or even with Force; the Force part is thanks to the Taozin-hide.
- Perfect Invisible: Invisibility is perfect thanks to refractive technology, it looks perfect up close and far.
- Cloaking or Shield: The two cannot work at the same time, one has to decide whether either the cloaking device function works or the shield. Not only would they use a lot of energy, but shield technology cannot be shielded by the cloaking device.
- EMP/Ion: Like all technology devices, it is vulnerable to EMP / Ion attacks. Although it has a high level of protection against such attacks due to the polymer, there are always so many attacks, or so strong, that electronics can no longer withstand, and the device will damage or destroy.
- Limits: The cloaking device creates a field directly around the user, not a hemisphere, so extra equipment remains invisible only for a limited area. A longer sword blade or a sniper rifle barrel will already hang out of the force-field (if the user holds them in their hands). This is why the force field cannot be extended to others, these are one-man devices. Last but not least, the estuarine fire cannot be covered by the force-field either, so it is easily noticeable just like the attacking blade during the attack. So when the user attacks someone, they are almost certainly noticed.
- Damage: If the device itself is damaged, the crystals may cause a larger explosion, which could result in serious injury or death to the user.
- Force: There is also an advantage and a disadvantage when the cloaking device is activated, thanks to the Taozin-hide the user hides in the Force as well. But friends don’t perceive the user either, and if he’s hurt, it can easily lead to death because no one will find them.
The HPI Consortium is still happy to work with Shadow Company when it comes to special technologies. Shadow Company is famous for its various stealth, camouflage and cloaking technologies. Now they were just trying to create something like this again. One that can be used as a personal device and one that can be used on a vehicles, spaceships, or buildings.
A fairly good method has already been developed for the adaptive camouflage system, this has been used here as well, only in this case Stygium and Adegan crystals have also been used to make the technology even better. As a result, the Morðingja-class Personal Cloaking Device was created, which is a fairly modern and perfect cloaking device.
The principles of operation are the same as those of most similar technologies, but they have been able to eliminate problems such as imperfection in the case of rapid movement or the perception of the user in the Force. This has been solved with Taozin-hide, but it can also be a disadvantage in case of possible injuries.
Unfortunately, the EMP / Ion weakness has still not been eliminated, and like all such technologies, it has its advantages and disadvantages. Nevertheless, Morðingja is a very good cloaking device that both HPI and Shadow Company can confidently recommend to their agents, spies… and assassins as well.
