CONTENT INFORMATION
Moonlighter (real name Cato Harth) is a Jedi Knight turned superhero vigilante operating on Nar Shaddaa. At night he dons a custom black and green costume outfitted with various gadgets (such as night vision lenses, sound dampening foot pads, a wrist-mounted grappling hook and fibercord whip, a belt containing smoke pellets, flash bombs, tracers, etc; and lights which can be deactivated to make him near-invisible in dark areas) and patrols the streets looking for criminal activity to stop.

One night he encounters a female Shi'ido named Inanna, who is being followed by street thugs. The two team up to take down the criminals. Inanna reveals she is on Nar Shaddaa looking for her niece, Ash, who ran away from home. Moonlighter helps her track down Ash, who appears to have joined a terrorist group known as Free Lao-mon. Cato is injured in a showdown with the terrorists and removes his mask so that Inanna can tend to his wounds, revealing his secret identity to her.

Some time later, Cato visits Inanna at her home on Erakhis, ostensibly to learn more about the terrorists (but really because he wanted to see her). While they investigate Free Lao-mon, tracking their exploits back to Nar Shaddaa, the two strike up a passionate romance. Inanna ultimately decides to move in with Cato and joins him in his crimefighting endeavors under the name Mimic.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

"Being a published writer has its perks. I know a guy in publishing, who knows a guy in comics publishing, who knows a comics artist..." - Inanna Harth

Moonlighter and Mimic were a real crimefighting duo, and this comic adapts their early adventures together. The comic was commissioned by Inanna as a wedding gift for Cato, marking the end of their vigilante days. She wrote the story and dialogue, while an unnamed comic book artist supplied the art.
