BIOGRAPHY
Born on Askaj, Monira was raised as one of several siblings in a large, loving Askajian family. As a young girl she harbored dreams of becoming a dancer. However, at the age of twelve she was discovered by a Jedi Master who offered to bring her to the Temple for training. Monira was reluctant to go, but her parents encouraged her to become a Jedi, amazed that their daughter was Force sensitive and enamored with the promise of a better life for their daughter. The girl ultimately decided to accept, on the condition that she be allowed to maintain contact with her family and visit her home every other year.
Five years later, Monira has become a Padawan and is about to be assigned a Master who will continue her training. A shy and awkward teen, Monira struggles to fit in as an alien and as someone whose abilities are not as spectacular as many of her peers.
