A starfighter designed for Jalen Kai'el, a collaborative effort between him and his brother to create a starfighter that could be flown entirely blind, relying only on the force. The Bluejay as the starfighter would be eventually called is built off of the frame of the Delta-7, but takes the wing folds of the Eta-2 for increased resistance in atmosphere. It also has external engines, a design inspired by a notorious modified Delta-7 from the Clone Wars Era. It maximizes speed, manuverability, and toolkit for a dogfight, though ultimately it's primary purpose is to get Jalen across the galaxy in one piece. Notably, the cockpit was designed to remove unnecessary sensory so that Jalen could focus on his use of force sight, the primary means of detecting other vessels around him. For this reason the ship lacks a targeting system as Jalen does not require it, making the vessel extremely difficult for NFU pilots to utilize. The force crystal within enhances the senses, though removing it greatly decreases the effectiveness of the starfighter. The Bluejay has a greyish-blue finish with faded gold markings, featuring the Jedi Crest on the nose.
