OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Mochirsa - High Sith for Butchers
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: Vanqor
  • Average Lifespan: 50 Galactic Standard Years
  • Estimated Population: Scattered
  • Description: The Mochirsa are an extremely vicious canine Sithspawn species, desiring nothing more than conquest, death, and expansion in service of their Dark God. Mochirsa are terrifyingly massive beasts with sharp fangs and fierce eyes, covered in matted fur and scars that speak of many kills and fights.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: Type I
  • Average Height of Adults: 2.3 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: Off-white to a pale gray
  • Hair color: Gray to Dark Brown, the mane that runs along their back can range from orange to a dirty yellow color
  • Distinctions: The most distinctive physical features of the Mochirsa are their overly large claws on their hands and feet, their glowing eyes, and oddly enough their fur that still retains some of their Squib phisiology by acting as a pseudo olfactory organ. There are extremely small differences between males and females, almost to the point where one cannot tell them apart.
  • Races: No other races
  • Force Sensitivity: Rare
Strengths:
  • Mochirsa, as they were designed, are extremely vicious creatures that carry an unnatural lust for blood and fresh meat. This manifests in combat as a potent blood rage, fueled by the dark side and the Sith sorcery and alchemy that went into their creation, that greatly enhances their strength and speed and allows them to ignore injuries they might sustain for a time.
  • Due to the Lady of Secrets introducing a modified strain of her Subsumed Rakghoul virus, the Mochirsa's bites and scratches have the ability to mutate their living victims into more of the race. However, the beasts only allow victims that actually gave them a challenge the chance to change. Others are consumed and killed before the transformation can take place.
  • Mochirsa are unabashed consumers, one might even describe them as a blight as they proceed to devour any and all organic life within their path of destruction that they do not either mutate or enslave. It does not matter if the meat they find is alive or dead, nothing will be left, not even bones, once they have passed through.
  • Their Squib ancestry has granted them the rather unique ability of their fur being able to sense smells and being sensitive enough that they can figure out the tiniest details of an object they touch.
Weaknesses:
  • Like all lesser Sithspawn, they are highly weak to Force Light and other direct applications of the light side. However, this inherent weakness does not stop them from wanting to collect trophies from Jedi.
  • While their blood rage is extremely potent, and allows them to ignore injuries, this does mean that a Mochirsa can sustain mortal wounds and not realize it until they fall over dead, a flicker of surprise on their face at their deaths.
  • The modified strain of the Subsumed virus, while it can cause mutations, takes longer than the pure strain developed by the Lady of Secrets and can also be cured if the wounds are treated quickly enough with Force Heal.
  • While their fur is a powerful tool for them, it does mean that particularly potent smells like flowers and perfumes can overwhelm them.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Carnivore
  • Communication: Mochirsa can speak a rough Basic dialect, but mainly communicate in the Sith language
  • Technology level: While the Mochirsa have access to Galactic Standard technology, they have chosen as a culture to use more basic technology until their Dark God deems them worthy of its use. Until that moment, they prefer the use of bladed weapons like swords and axes, all the better for carnage and bloodletting.
  • Religion/Beliefs: The Mochirsa have created a brutal and sadistic religion that worships the Dark God, Kaine Zambrano. They believe that through ritualistic flesh sacrifices and the city-wide level of carnage they unleash on the Sith's enemies that their Dark God grows ever stronger, gorging himself on the life they destroy. Shamans of the religion, and those among the race who are Force Sensitive, claim to channel the blessings of their Dark God, unleashing destructive Force powers or using Sith sorcery to resurrect fallen warriors so they can continue their service to their master until their bodies can no longer function. Crude stone shrines with bowls of blood are the center of each Mochirsa community, and they believe that one day, the Dark God will come and bless the blood contained in the bowls to offer them greater power.
  • General behavior: Mochirsa are sadistic killers and their general behaviors and society are shaped by this ingrained world view. Communities are generally structured around a single clan and the shaman that rules it with an iron fist and by claiming to be their clan's connection to their Dark God. Clans occasionally war against themselves, if they do not have a directed enemy, all in a bid to gain more favor from the Sith. Those clans that have actually gained some favor with the Dark God have adorned their shields and armor with the legendary Eye of Soloman to show their pride and engender envy among those they consider lesser of their race. When a Mochirsa dies outside of combat, his body is consumed by the entire clan and their bones are used either as weapons or the shaman uses Sith magic to animate the bones so they may have the chance to redeem themselves in death for dying a pathetic death.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

During Operation: Eclipse, Fiolette Raaf, Yvarro at the time, had launched an assault upon Skor II as revenge for the repeated defeats the First Order suffered on the world. The attack was devastating and the Admiral captured many Squibs for transport back to Sith space, reasoning that Taeli Raaf, her girlfriend then, could use them in her experiments at some point. Taeli, unsure of what she would do yet with the Squibs, had the captives transported to the world of Vanqor until she determined what was to be conducted on them... well almost all of the Squibs as she did not have their anatomical information in her database.

Eventually, years later, she decided to revisit the captives as she finally figured out what she wanted to do. The Squibs were subjected to dark rituals of Sith alchemy and sorcery, horrible genetic experiments altering their genome. To make matters worse for the poor canines, Taeli had brought along modified samples of her Subsumed rakghoul virus and introduced the unfortunates to the virus, mutating them even further. The new beasts, once they emerged from the crystallized blood cocoons, were dubbed the Mochirsa in High Sith, Butchers in Galactic Basic.

The new Sithspawn hybrids were double the height of their original selves, their minds and bodies altered beyond recognition of the Squibs they once were. Blood and war, flesh and carnage were what they lived for now, and Taeli directed the few Force Sensitives among them as the new rulers of the emerging clans on Vanqor. These shamans wanted answers for where the powers they had came from and Taeli, not really wanting to be worshipped by these new servants of the dark side, taught them about the Immortal Emperor, Kaine Zambrano.

Ah. I knew if I kept digging for treasure I was going to find something skin curling in one of these species subs. I am victorious. Ew, Taeli. Ew :p

And they're contagious. I've always been a dog person. I might get a cat.

Just one suggestion...You list a few important figures like Kaine Zambrano and Fiolette Raaf - It would be a good idea to link their profiles or tag them for readers who aren't familiar. I can pass it without it, but, tag me and let me know how you'd like to proceed.
