STRENGTHS
  • The Phrik / Duraplastweave combined with an abundance of ArmorWeave makes a majority of the armor Extremely energy and lightsaber resistant. good for use in typical combat and force-sensitive combat as well.
  • The Thinsuit Body glove Provides High Environmental resistance while including hermetic sealing. This provides the user with protection against vacuums and pressure, chemicals, and temperature. Allowing the User to EVA and survive in harsh conditions
  • While the suit has typical Oxygen supply and environmental protection. The addition of the Oxygen recirculator and temperature regulator significantly increase the time the wearer is capable of EVA

WEAKNESSES
  • As a result of the Duraplast weaving, the main armor can be prone to shattering when introduced to kinetic forces
  • While the Body glove provides the user with protection, things like Acid can still break down the Armorweave
  • There are a lot of internal electronics, specifically with how the suit can connect to an augmented user, there is virtually no resistance to short out the connection, rendering some of the functions provided by cybernetics useless.
  • The main function of the Suit is as combat armor, The EVA as an added bonus causes some liberties to be taken. The resistance for disruptors is high enough to save the wearer's life, but only in the very basic defenses.
DESCRIPTION
Vyn didn't design the Icarus armor, he simply modified it to allow for his own additions and the added cyberware inputs. The design and creation of the armor goes to his family's long lineage of assassins and highly trained "force killers". They needed something durable and resistant to the weapons of force users and their supporters, they first created the Phrik/duraplast compound, realizing it was capable of shattering with enough kinetic force, they replaced most of the armor and encased what remained in an abundance of Armorweave. They'd created suitable combat armor, but as the years went on, they redesigned it to be capable of EVA and even primary blaster combat.

At the end of the day, a suitable multipurpose armor capable of EVA was put into production, however, after the destruction of the Villa, only a small number of the Icarus suits are left. The modifications made by Vyn added some utility and usage, adversely he lowered some of the resistances the armor had, now becoming susceptible to emp and a number of other weaknesses.
