Question Missing canonical planets

First of all, the new maps are really cool.

But I noticed that some world which used to be on the older maps are gone. Including Vorzyd which is pivotal in Maris' identity.

Is it just the case that there was a pruning of the worlds for the new map or did something happen to some of the old planets IC?

It was more of a pruning thing, as the new map only has so much space. Just because it's not listed on the map, doesn't mean the planet doesn't exist or isn't there.

Lack of presence on the map has no bearing on the existence of a planet. You can still use, write on or reference planets that aren't on the map but exist in Star Wars. Every planet that existed in Canon/Legends exists on Chaos and can be used.

The same applies, for that matter, to any custom planets subbed and approved in Codex, regardless of whether they're on the map or not (custom planets are only put on the map if the submitter requests it). Most aren't, but they still exist.

It's simply a matter of having finite space. Even the old map didn't have everything. If someone wants to put a canon planet that's not represented on the map onto it, they can make a request by filling out the template here, but as said the planet exists regardless.
