THE LOTUS ENCLAVE

- BACKGROUND
-
Mishel Kryze was born Ryana Yval Brention, a Forceborn child created through unnatural means, her lineage tied to Siobhan Kerrigan and Valessia Brentioch. She was adopted by a merchant family on Tabaqui, and her life was forever altered when the Kraal attacked. In their aftermath, her Force potential became known, and Seiger Ren claimed her for the Knights of Ren.
Raised in a bacta tank, trained as a living weapon, Mishel's early life was sculpted in darkness. Her time with the Knights of Ren taught her to survive and to hate herself. Every act of rebellion made her dangerous in their eyes, yet she persisted. She was tortured, broken, and reforged more than once, and ultimately freed through the combined efforts of Romi Jade and Coren Starchaser.
Mishel's path back to the light was neither fast nor clean. She became a Jedi padawan under Starchaser, studied alongside Alkor Centaris and Kurayami Bloodborn, and forged her own connection to the Force, separate from the Code, but grounded in compassion and survival. Her deep ties to artifice and crystals stem from this journey.
Though she reunited with her biological family, a Sith Lord brother, a war-scarred sister, and a reluctant mother, those bonds were complex and often painful. Mishel also found love and loss with Shia Kryze, a Mandalorian warrior who was lost in one of many galactic conflicts. This grief deepened her commitment to protect others, especially her children.
Resurrected through the Force after sacrificing herself for her sister, Mishel carries the weight of two lives. Now the Master of the Lotus Enclave on Monastery, she teaches not through doctrine, but through clarity, resilience, and an unyielding will to heal, both others, and herself.
- PERSONALITY
-
Mishel Kryze is not your average Jedi, and she doesn't care to be. Fiercely protective, sarcastic, and pragmatic to her bones, Mishel's strength lies not in unwavering serenity but in her ability to endure, adapt, and keep moving. She's a survivor of the Knights of Ren, of the Sith Empire, of death itself, and while she doesn't lead with those scars, she carries them with purpose.
She's maternal in the same way a storm shelters what's behind it. To her students, she's a force of nature: blunt, demanding, but fiercely loyal. She'll drag you out of a burning building while lecturing you on field awareness, and then stay up all night repairing your saber because she knows what it means to be left without one.
Unorthodox, driven, and deeply tied to Corellian roots by way of her Master Coren Starchaser, Mishel blends battlefield wisdom with a healer's touch. She prefers clarity over comfort and truth over tradition. The Force, to her, is not dogma, it's a lifeline, and she doesn't waste it.

STRENGTHS
Mishel was created through Force-centric manipulation, resulting in heightened midichlorian density and innate affinity for raw power — from survivability to instinctive Force use.
+ Blade Mastery (Knight Class, Sentinel Doctrine)
Trained from Ren to Jedi to Warden, Mishel's lightsaber proficiency is built on mobility, clarity, and momentum. She doesn't fight to prove herself — she fights to protect others.
+ Battlefield Healer
Not a Temple Healer, but a crisis one. Mishel excels in trauma stabilization and triage while under pressure. Her healing approach is fast, intuitive, and effective under fire.
+ Artifice and Kyber Tuning
Her connection to kyber crystals and Force-imbued objects is unique. Mishel doesn't just forge — she listens. Her sabers and crafted items hum with subtle power and personal attunement.
+ Anchor Presence
In moments of fear or chaos, Mishel doesn't falter — she steadies. A natural field commander who projects stillness through her aura, helping others find clarity in panic.
+ Resilience (Mental + Physical)
She's survived Ren indoctrination, Sith imprisonment, Force resurrection, and grief. Mishel knows how to keep going — and help others do the same.
WEAKNESSES
Despite her composed presence, Mishel still carries deep-rooted emotional trauma from her creation, indoctrination, and reanimation. It occasionally resurfaces through isolation or mistrust.
– Conflict-Averse (to Authority)
She mistrusts hierarchical power and won't always comply with Jedi Council edicts or structured orders. This can strain relationships with more orthodox Jedi or allies who expect protocol.
– Survivorship Guilt
Having outlived several mentors, partners, and comrades, Mishel occasionally suffers from guilt-driven detachment. She keeps people safe — but struggles to let them truly close.
– Overextends in Crisis
Mishel will push past her own limits to save others. She will bleed, break, and burn herself out rather than abandon someone — sometimes at great cost.
– Not a Strategist
Though brilliant in a fight or in one-on-one training, she's not a long-term tactician. Mishel operates best on instinct and clarity, not large-scale planning or political games.
– Force Clone Instability (Suppressed)
Her Forceborn origin has been stabilized over time, but its nature makes her vulnerable to manipulation, dark side pressure, or old trigger mechanisms implanted during her time with the Ren or Sith.
