A long curling tail aids his balance, and his face is distinctly avian: round with an owl-like beak, framed by tufted ears and expressive black eyes that gleam with faint magenta shimmer. His feathers are still maturing, lending him a slightly scrappy, adolescent look.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Misch's life nearly ended in the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa. Trapped and wounded, the juvenile Noctua was caught by hunters who had no idea what kind of creature they had snared. When Juniper stumbled across him, she was struck not only by his condition but by the uncanny black eyes that stared back at her through the trap. Against her instincts, and her better judgment, she freed him, tended his wounds, and nursed him back to health.
Her plan had been to release him once he could fly again, but Misch had other ideas. He refused to leave, shadowing her through the city and later onto her ship. Wherever Juniper goes, Misch either perches nearby or waits in the cabin he's claimed as his own. Though their bond is still unrefined- more a persistent attachment than a mystical link- his presence has already proven invaluable. He scouts ahead, warns her of danger, and hunts when supplies run thin.
For all his troublemaking and stubbornness, Misch is now part of Juniper's shadow. Whether she admits it or not, she loves him, and though he is not yet the apex predator his species will one day become, he has already carved out his place at her side.
