  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Mirru Maavo is a Senator within the Royal Naboo Republic representing the world of Haruun Kal, matriarch of Ghôsh Maavo, and founding leader of the Akk Wolves.

  • HISTORY
Mirru Maavo was born to Ghôsh Maavo- a small, but influential clan in Haruun Kal. While she was still a child, the Maavo compound was overtaken when the Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded Haruun Kal. While outside powers setting their sights on Haruun Kal was not unheard, the goals of the Confederacy was not to pillage the world of it's resources- rather, they viewed the native Korun was as cache of recruits to replenish the Obsidian Knights, the Confederate Force Order. They saw the Korun as a breeding ground, a never-ending pool of disposable shock troops. The CIS pre-emptively assassinated Ghôshs perceived to be impediment, and Haruun Kal was subsequently garrisoned by the Obsidian Knights.

All Maavo clansmen present at the compound were killed, the women taken. Mirru, on an errand with her younger cousins, was spared from the massacre. However, with the death of her clan, Mirru was the matriarch, and leader, of Ghosh Maavo. In accordance to her parent's wishes, She was sent to a preparatory school in Vardos. There, she was groomed to be lead, to fight, to dominate. She returned to Haruun Kal, nearly decade later.

Honed into a weapon, she threw herself into the insurgency against the Confederacy. Her fierceness, strategems, and raw Force ability for despite no formal training made her a horror on the battlefield. Concurrently, she- along with Ghosh Vass -sent envoys to Ghosh across the Highlands. We've always outnumbered the invaders, the envoys argued. We outnumber the invaders. So why do we war against each other? Why do we make ourselves weaker?

This tension would come to a head when the Confederacy of Independent System's grip on Haruun Kal weakened, as their government vanished seemingly overnight. Fearing the ambitions of Ghôsh Vass, the Balawai- with a number of Ghôsh- launched a pre-emptive assault on Pelek Baw, the seat of Vass power, igniting a bloody civil war. Taken off-guard, the Vass fought the initial stages of the war into a bloody stalemate before their allies, seeing the opportunity to curtail the power of the outlander Balawai once and for all, joined their ranks. Heading the charge, it was Mirru, in a series of decisive battles, routed the foreign aggressors. Overwhelmed by a united, organized Korunnai fighting force, the Balawai quickly surrendered. Turning their attention to CIS remnants, the fledgling Federation swiftly nationalized their assets and expelled the Confederacy, once and for all.

With peace firmly in it's grasp, the Ghôshs descended upon Pelek Baw for a constitutional convention. Over the course of three days, after much argument and compromise, the Al'Har Pact was ratified, and the Al'Har Federation was formed in 897 ABY. Mirru, for her parts, was elected to the High Council, and selected to serve as commander of the elite Akk Wolves unit- the Spear of Al'Hari, often charged with meting out justice beyond the stars.

Yet despite the peace, tension simmered. Haruun Kal straddled the border of the Galactic Alliance, as the Sith drew closer. Ghosh Vass represented a contingent of the High Council that was decidedly pro-GA. However, Mirru, breaking ranks with Vass, successfully lobbied for Haruun Kal's admission into the RNR, arguing that despite their smaller size, the Naboo actually remembered what the Unmaker did to Haruun Kal, and wanted to help all effected in the Southern Systems; the Alliance was in a war with the Empire, the Sith, and possibly the Mandalorians, soon enough.

Maavo, with her outmaneuvering of her one-time allies, was selected as Senator for Haruun Kal.
