GENERAL INFORMATION

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Korunnai organized themselves into clans- or Ghôsh. Of them, Ghôsh Vass stood atop them all. Powerful and cunning, the Vass eschewed the nomadic livelihoods of the Ghôsh, seating themselves at the capital, Pelek Baw. There, they acted as protectors, gaining the admiration and gratitude of the Balawai- or the "outlanders", the immigrants who managed to tame Haruun Kal enough to thrive. Through the patronage of the Balawai, the Vass amassed a great amount of land and wealth. Additionally, they often dealt with other factions, offering their warrior's services in exchange for technology and arms to forcibly expand their reach across Haruun Kal and "civilize" the planet. This exchange often entailed allowing their most promising of clanbrothers- or dôshallai- to be fostered in the household of their client, receiving first-class education and training, and deployed to whichever far-flung planet needed to be subjugated. At the conclusion of the tour, the Vass- now a fully trained dôshalo- would return to Haruun Kal in glory, though a few chose live away from the Ghôsh.
However, the Vass would change with the rise of Sinhton Vass, current patriarch of Ghôsh Vass. His experiences fighting against the Sith during the Omega War sparked a crisis of faith, and led to his conversion to Ashla. Sinhton expressly forbade dealings with the followers of Bogan- Ghôsh Vass would only deal with clients that fell in lines with Ashlan doctrine. This caused tension with the secular Balawai, and the Ghôsh across the planet that belonged to a variety of faiths.
This tension would come to a head when the Confederacy of Independent System's grip on Haruun Kal weakened, as their government vanished seemingly overnight. Fearing the ambitions of Ghôsh Vass, the Balawai- with a number of Ghôsh- launched a pre-emptive assault on Pelek Baw, the seat of Vass power, igniting a bloody civil war. The war has settled into a bloody stalemate as the Vass have begun a campaign of reprisals against their once allies, the Balawai.

- Classification: Family/Clan
- Affiliation: Affiliated with Ashlan Crusade, as adherents to the faith. Outside of that, loyalty is primarily to the Ghôsh and Haruun Kal,.
- Organization Symbol: The akk dog. Ghôsh Vass has historically had a great affinity for the akk dog, bonding with them as familiars. They are life-long companions. Warriors often ride their familiars into battle, taking advantage of their thick hides, great size, and Force connection.

- Domain: Ghosh Vass as long laid claim to Pelek Baw- the capital of Haruun Kal. This claim stretches to the end of the "dark ages" brought about by the Gulag Plague.
- Notable Assets: The Vass lay came to a district within Pelek Baw; set within the center of the city, it has, over time become a city within a city. High walls cut it off from the rest of the city, with only one exit and entry. Vass District is primarily a residential district, and the dôshallai live fairly comfortably thanks to the revenue brought in by missions, those some may describe the Vass District as affluent.
- Hierarchy: Ghôsh Vass is led by the clan head, a hereditary position. He is advised ten person council. Each council member has a portfolio they work on- education, culture, investment, law enforcement, intergalactic relations, war, etc.
- Membership: There are approximately 10,000 dôshallai in Ghôsh Vash. You must be born, or marry into, the Ghôsh to join. The responsibilities are varied; some look after the finances of the Ghosh; some handle negotiations for land; some liaison with outside factions; and many are warriors. The most elite warriors comprise a unit known as the Akk Guard, answerably only to the clan head.
- Climate: Fiercely loyal to one another, and to Haruun Kal.
- Reputation: Some see Ghôsh Vass as the vanguard for bringing Haruun Kal into modernity. Other see them as greedy tyrants who eschew tradition for power, puppets of outsiders.
