OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Name: Mirr
  • Manufacturer: Sith
  • Affiliation: Er'in Tenel
  • Modularity: No

  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Stone, Crystal
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Artifact
  • Size: Average
  • Weight: Heavy
Strengths:
  • Enhances Force Vision, Force Sense and all powers of a similar visionary/precognitive nature, providing extra strength and clarity as well as further 'reach'.
Weaknesses:
  • All visions are warped through the lens of the darkside. The item does not attempt to control its owner directly, but a user should not believe everything they see in the Mirr, careless use can lead users down the path of corruption.
  • It's a large, unwieldy lump of stone. One would hardly call it portable.

DESCRIPTION
The Mirr was a Sith artifact that at some point came to reside on the planet Voss where it was embraced by the native Voss people. This Dark side relic became in the species legend and was used by the Voss Mystics where it was believed that the artifact allowed them to hold clearer visions.

In the past, it resided in a Sith altar on Voss where it remained until the years of the Cold War, it was then lost for thousands of years until recovered by the Mandalorian's and held by several of their more powerful witches, before it passed into obscurity with the 'passing' (one would hestitate to say 'death') of Ember Rekali.

Quite how it found its way to a modern adjunct to the Emperor's Vault on Jakku is unclear - it's owner at the time appeared to have abandoned it, but it may well still be being pursued by the owner who assumed such an obscure vault was safe.

The Mirr permits powerful farseeing to skilled individuals, with a focus on visions as granted by the Dark Side. It does not appear to be inherently corrupting by its mere presence, but the visions it grants are always twisted with the dark side and can easily lead the unwary down the path of corruption if it becomes the master, rather than the mastered. These visions can be guided and are both powerful and far reaching.

This is a canon item.
