Private Minor Fixes and Major Ships

Getting too old for this
A snarky comment was made about his ship.

When he turned around to see who it was, they were already gone. Just as quickly as they had appeared, they were now blended in with the crowds of people walking by. Sure, the Lenmobile wasn't the prettiest of ships, but it go the job done. Most of the time. Out of 50%.

Standing back he admired the hidden beauty of his ship. The rust stains streaking the outside of the ship like racing stripes, the left engine currently torn apart and getting fixed, the crack on the viewport. She was perfect. Placing both hands on his side he let out a small breath, taking in the moment. Which was rudely interrupted by a Durasteel panel falling off.

Letting out a small sigh he walked over to the fallen panel. Bending down he picked up the panel, wiping off the dust that probably was ingrained in the metal. Tilting his head upward he found where the panel had come off of: none other than the left engine. Fortunately, that engine was already getting worked on, so he could place the panel on at the end. Unfortunately, all sorts of wires came spewing out of it, falling to the ground.

Looking down at the wires, then back at the engine, then once again back to the wires, he decided he should probably get some help fixing her up. Turning to the crowd he tried pressing his luck.

"Any of y'all want to come help a good-looking spacer out?"

Kat Decoria Kat Decoria

It was the time of the week where she could let her hair down and get on with her favourite job, working on ships and various techs. The mechanic at heart, she had been practising her Mechu Deru techniques while working and though she had a company that was earning her a modest income, however, getting her hands dirty and perhaps getting a few extra credits while doing so, it was honest work that she couldn't stay away from. Wearing her usual mechanic get up, loose baggy cargo pants, plain white top with a couple of stains of oil and grease from work she had been doing in private. Her hair was tied into a ponytail with a swooping fringe, her Lightsaber was not with her but she had a tool belt with plenty of tools and small trinkets to use.

As she walked past the ships, looking at the different ships which were of various quality in build. The worst looking ship, something that didn't even look space worthy, yet alone hyperspace worthy was a ship with a guy standing outside it, asking if anyone would help him out with it. Kat sighed, this looked like it was going to be a lot of work, part of her found that super exciting and giving her plenty to do but she was also somewhat concerned since she didn't really take on big projects like this one for leisure at least. But it was clear that this man needed help and she didn't want to refuse someone in need. Walking over to him, she chuckled and shrugged, "well, when I find a good-looking spacer, I'll be sure to help her out, till then I suppose I can slum it with you." Offering a friendly smile as she moved closer to the ship and inspected the vessel, tutting a little too loudly.
