I have in fact not seen Goldeneye or any of those, but it would be really cool to launch X-Wings out of what was just a lava pool. That would probably take the board in the cool factors.

What do you have in mind? Diverting the lava? Advanced shields, or a launch tube coming up from the lava to fire fighters?

Probably something like shielded launch tubes to basically shoot them out.

Or a network of shielded channels that can divert to a few different hangar openings that can allow lava to be returned to hide the exits and keep things moving around while using the lava as another defensive barrier.
