STRENGTHS
As a mostly voidborne species, the Avali have invested significant resources into the area of wireless power transmission, after significant time and resource investment it was discovered that energy could be exchanged between celestial bodies via Microwave projection. This is achieved by converting electricity into Microwaves and projecting the microwaves towards a receiver. Once received the energy can be converted back into usable electricity enabling, what is essentially wireless power. Industrial structures are usually fairly large to accommodate the necessary equipment, meaning initial investment is significant but once established transmission and receiving structures are fairly cheap to run.
This innovation resolved significant logistical hurdles in Avali's terraforming activities, allowing them to offshore power generation to stable, or geothermal-rich environments. Equally, it meant that ships in planetary orbits could be sustained, allowing for retrofitting and other maintenance tasks to be performed without breaking Nouverium Crystal containment.

STRENGTHS
- Power Grid Security - Hostile forces will find it very difficult to disrupt energy supplies without targeting key transmitters/receivers in the network. In the event one is damaged, another can easily take its place.
- Infrastructure / Maintenance Costs - Less intermediary infrastructure is required to support the delivery of power supplies, for example, no long-distance cabling.
- Renewable - MPT is more environmentally friendly, not requiring construction teams to re-route existing infrastructure or carve up new territories for cabling.
