DESCRIPTION
The MHCR-D30 was a military protocol droid designed to aid officers at HQ or on the field, offering on-site translation, logistics support, statistical analysis, and a variety of other useful tasks. They were particularly helpful during wartime as they could give updates and insight on troop morale, offer strategic advice, and could even act as a scout in a pinch. Unlike standard protocol droids which were often stiff moving and had awkward gaits, the MHCR-D30 operated with the human-like fluidity of a combat model, though it had no combat programing by default, allowing it to follow its unit to hell and back without being a hinderance.

Ever since the end of the Gulag Plague, tactical droids have been a staple in militaries from across the Galaxy. Most recently, they have seen rapid growth in the Galactic Alliance. Despite the era of general peace earned by the Jedi, small skirmishes and minor military actions still plagued the outskirts of Alliance territory. As a way to reduce personnel usage in these less important conflicts, droids were more frequently used for both administrative purposes and frontline combat. In these droid units, they could operate quite comfortably as frontline commanders and act as superb command liaisons for Jedi in the field or organic GADF officers.
