Descriptive Information
Description: Mage Guild Operations, a weird company mostly working with the Council of Sorcery, is the manufacturer of the MGO-1 Compass. While seemingly being a typical compass with only a strange look, it is actually a bit more. While yes, it works as a normal compass, the largest crystal pointing towards the North, it is also used for locating other people who own these compasses. That is why Force Crystals are used for the compass.

The base of this compass is made out of wood, not anything in particular. The ornaments which surround the wooden base and a lot more of the compass are made out of gold, or if not, are made to look like gold, and the needles are made out of glass while in the end of each needle, there is a force crystal. The needle which is meant to point towards the North ends with a larger crystal than any other needle, and the ones pointing towards the East and West are not truly magnetic as it would be illogical.

These compasses, however, work in another manner, too. The Force Crystals are meant to be found by other compasses of the same kind, and when supporting the crystals with using the Force, the owner of such compass will sense the locations of other people who have the same compasses.

This piece of technology is truly rather pointless and serves more like a souvenir rather than as a real compass. Its weaknesses would be low durability (as the needles are made out of glass), being unpractical, and using energy to make these is quite pointless. Still, while Mage Guild Operations tries to start making technology which would be beneficial for users of Sorcery or Force-users as a whole, the compass is a perfect cover-up to hide the true intentions of the company.
