Hey everyone,

I am sure this will be a surprise for some of you, and not so much for others perhaps, but after a lot of thought and reflection over the last couple of weeks, I've decided that it's time for me to officially step down as MFO and pass the baton.

This year has been incredibly busy and challenging for me personally, and there are things in my life that need more of my time and focus — including helping my son through what's been a difficult year for our family as a whole.

As much as I want to continue giving this faction my attention, I know I can't give the role the energy and consistency it deserves right now and I'd love to see this place last well beyond me, but that means I need to step aside and make way for someone with the time and passion to do so. I have complete confidence that whoever this next person is, will step up and continue to build, grow, and lead this space forward with the same passion that's made it what it is today.

With that in mind, I'll be opening up the process of finding THR's next MFO. Please remember that this is just the nomination stage, not the voting stage.

That said, I would like to propose Brandyn Sal-Soren as the next owner of THR. There were a lot of good choices on the staff team and something I went back and forth on, but should he accept, I believe he has what it takes to lead things forward and keep this place going strong.

Of course, this is only my suggestion and you are all free to provide your nominations for who you believe would be a good fit to take on the role as well. If you're nominating someone other than yourself, they'll need to make a post formally accepting or declining the nomination.

While everyone is welcome to follow along, please remember that only those who are currently active within the faction will be taken into consideration.

For clarity, this means members who have made 10 or more faction thread posts within the last 6 months.

As always, the nomination process will be open for 48 hours.

I'd like to nominate Lorn Reingard to become the next MFO of THR.

There's no denying that he has the muse, passion, and narrative vision to carry this faction through its next season. He's been holding strong for months now and I haven't seen any signs of that dedication going anywhere.

Thank you to Amz for taking the Kingdom of Naboo and pushing it along to become the glorious Royal Naboo Republic, and then the High Republic soon after. Whether you're our reigning MFO or not, this space owes you greatly for your initial vision and leadership since the beginning.

Regardless of who the next MFO is, Kalantha stands at the ready to serve the Republic. Best of luck to all nominees <3

It's probably not needed but I second the nomination for Lorn Reingard as MFO He's been a driving force in our faction and has done an amazing job as a rper, creative thinker and has a great command presence and leadership capabilities.

It's a great choice!

While I have been on an LOA and Brandyn Sal-Soren plays my Mentor, so I may be a little biased (Naturally), they are where my vote lies. Brandyn has always shown nothing but the utmost commitment to The High Republic, even during times of difficulty in their personal circumstances; something that is not easy to maintain when life rears its ugly head. While we have many incredibly gifted and steadfast writers in this faction, I do not doubt in my mind that Brandyn Sal-Soren is perfectly fit to maintain the standard of leadership that Briana Sal-Soren has graced us with.

I am not sure if I meet the qualifications. I would have to check but I think Brandyn Sal-Soren and Lorn Reingard seem like great choices. Aiden Porte is another great person I would consider if he were up for it.
