ALINA GRAYSON
Alina, the youngest member of the Grayson family and the sister of
Lunara Azure
, had a different experience when her Force sensitivity was discovered compared to her sister Lunara. Rather than being sent away as Lunara had been, the family allowed Alina the freedom to make her own choices. It wasn't until several years later that she decided to join the Church for training. During this period, Alina found herself living in the shadow of her older sister, a circumstance she deeply resented. However, instead of succumbing to her resentment, Alina channeled it into a fierce determination to outshine even Lunara.
At first, Alina's motivation was rooted in jealousy, a burning desire to attain even greater power than her sister, and the Church saw an opportunity in this. They kept Alina isolated from her sister, fostering and nurturing these feelings. But the Church had not anticipated Alina's ability to keenly understand her sister. Despite the anger she held towards Lunara, Alina could perceive the toll her sister's life was taking on her. She could easily recognize the pain her sister was enduring, and this realization shattered the jealousy she had harbored.
Everything changed when the Church's apostates attacked her home, resulting in the tragic deaths of the royal family and numerous innocent individuals. In the wake of this catastrophe, Alina fled her home and ventured into the vast galaxy, driven by the dual goals of escape and reuniting with her sister, should that opportunity arise.
After a considerable amount of time and effort, Alina managed to find her sister, Lunara, within the Confederacy. However, when they initially reunited, Lunara couldn't believe her eyes, as she had believed her entire family to have perished. Overcome with emotion, Alina embraced her sister, addressing her by their cherished childhood nickname, Luna. Their reunion was a long-awaited and heartwarming moment. Despite Lunara's ongoing responsibilities within the Confederacy, Alina made sure to maintain contact and began her own explorations of the vast galaxy.
As the Confederacy collapsed and the Ascendancy emerged as a dominant force, Alina dedicated herself to assisting the Ascendancy in its efforts to recover from the devastating influence of the Unmaker. Over the course of several years, Alina played a crucial role in the ongoing efforts to rebuild and strengthen the Ascendancy, aiding the organization in its quest for stability and growth in the face of challenging circumstances.
