OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Clans Longhouses: Each Clan has their own Longhouse. Structurally sound and warm in the winters, these Longhouses can hold upwards of fifty people comfortably. Clan sigils mark the outside, both on carved wooden poles and painted on the structures themselves.
Storerooms: There are no shops or markets in Mewspier. There are only storerooms for the Clans to share. Food, clothing, tools and other items are stored in these specific longhouses for the benefit of the Clans.
Armoury and Forge: Special longhouse built from stone and clay that houses the forge for weapons and armour. Even during internal disputes among the Clans, this longhouse is respectfully left untouched.
SECURITY
Medium. The level of security depends on how many of the Clans population are there at any given time. They are the only security that Mewspier has. At times the number of Mandalorians present is low in count, but on other ocassions, all or most of the Clansmen are there, especially in the harsh winters. And they are armed quite well swords, daggers, axes, hatchets, crossbows and spears.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Hundreds of years ago, starships, including a damaged Star Destroyer crashed on Weik. Among them were Clonetroopers that tried to conquer Vossport. However the Paladins defeated them.
A handful of the Clonetroopers managed to escape that defeat and joined up with some of the nomadic Weikians, which were descendants of a small group of Mandalorians that came to Weik in search of Beskar. Yet their ship was taken apart, and as such they were unable to leave. The Clonetroopers joined up with the established Clans and helped to build Mewspier; a place for shelter, food, community and ceremony.
Restricted to outsiders for the most part, a small number of Mandalorians live in Mewspier full time, maintaining the foodstores, supplies and weapons. The forge is always in use. It is during the winters and times of war when the population is at it's peak.
Wanting to always be open to gaining a contract with the Clans, most Wekians respect Mewspier and refrain from unsolicited visits. There are heavy consequences to those that tresspass, usually resulting in death.
Mewspier is virtually the heart of the Mandalorian culture on Weik.
