The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Hey guys, have you ever thought to yourself while writing on the forums "If I was in an actual lightsaber fight with this guy I could probably cut him in half no problem" or "I really wish I could actually stab this man with a lightsaber through his solar plexus" or "If I was an actual droid I would hunt him relentlessly until I would put my foot so far up his bum I would wear him like some sort of a human boot" or perhaps "God why am I such a hateful person, I should really talk to someone about these problem"
I know I have pretty much every time I am part of an invasion, rebellion, a pvp scenario, or just slightly too energetic conversation!
Well now you can, sort of! The Metal Lords present you the first, and hopefully not the last, Jedi Knight Academy Tournament!
So if you're interested and you've never been on our JKA server before, here's the link to information about it and instructions on how to set your JKA up to run the mod and connect to us properly. If you want some practice or actually learn how to fight with lightsabers in the mod, it requires some learning curve but it's a fairly simple system, you could join the Gladiatorial Combat Faction who we're working with on this and where I'll be posting a lightsaber combat walkthrough later on or just ask me here or send a private message with times when you're available and I can host practice or teaching sessions before tournament rounds start.
Then once you're all good to go just post here what times you're available to hop onto the server and which tournaments you want to take part of, the fights themselves probably won't take too long, maybe less than an hour, and if you're representing any faction for flavor purposes, and next Saturday or Sunday I'll structure the brackets and draw who's fighting who based on the times people posted to make sure that both combatants would have enough time to get on the server comfortable and do their fight without really interfering with their day. I probably won't be taking part in the tournament unless we'll just desperately need one more person.
But what's at stake?
Bragging rights and I'll make a fancy signature rank tag or get someone else to make it, this is just for fun more or less and to help build our community outside of the forums and IC faction politics.
So if any of these sound like something you want to take part in just let me know!

Pretty standard, each contender starts with 60 experience points giving them access to every ligthsaber form, they will be allowed only the use of Force Jump, Force Sense, Force Push, Force Pull, and Saber Defense techniques, dual wielding and saber-staff techniques will be allowed.Hand-To-Hand Combat Tournament
Same thing, less Force Powers though, fists only, chock-hold grappling allowed, contenders are allowed to use Force Jump, Force Sense, and Saber Defense techniquesMine Throwing Tournament
