SPECIAL FEATURES

DESCRIPTION

"Not to make an obvious statement here, but are you Jedi or Mando?" - Seo Linn, shortly after meeting Mereel on Anaxes.

After deciding to commit himself more to the beliefs of the Jedi Order and less to personal vendettas, Mereel quickly realized that wearing full Mandalorian armor around everywhere came with its restrictions during both training and fighting.

More clothing than proper armor, Mereel's Padawan armor grants him greater mobility at the cost of personal protection and beloved offensive accessories. The only actual protection offered by this armor comes from the Durasteel helmet and a thin Armorweave lace in the outfit's pants and jacket. Not one to go without any fun gadgets, Mereel threw on a pair of rocket boots to make the outfit feel more like his own.

Strengths:

- Lightweight: This outfit is light and hardly restricts the movement of its wearer.

- Head Protection: The helmet for this outfit is just Mereel's durasteel helmet from his full suit of Mandalorian armor. As a result, his head is much better protected than the rest of his body while wearing this armor.

- Rocket Boots: While not lasting nearly as long as a jetpack, the armor's rocket boots can provide the wearer up to five minutes of flight.

Weaknesses:

- You Call That Protection? - Besides the helmet, the protection provided by this armor is nothing to write home about. A couple of body shots with a blaster can seriously injure Mereel while he is wearing this, a vibroblade can easily cut through the material, and an unimpeded swing from a lightsaber could prove to be devastating.

- No Body Glove - This armor's lack of a body glove makes it ill suited for trips into vacuum and a poor choice of attire for exploring hazardous environments.
