The young Darth's smile became less forced. less apparent too, but a touch more genuine.

Perhaps a little lopsided.

"
I like you, Mercy. you know when to be cheeky, and when to not."

That was all it took to appease her, a minor correction, a respectful, friendly tone. Well, that tone was perhaps more than friendly but it certainly worked.

And so she leaned in just a little more, holding that same pose.

She was in a prime position to lunge, or topple spectacularly, depending on the next few minutes.

"
And what does need kissing, dear Vigo?" her brow raised.

"
You'd better not say your 'boot' either."

A little chuckle in response.

"It is luck that we meet now and not a few years back." Mercy murmured easily but allowed the closing of distance. Her eyes were even more spectacular from a short range.

"If you think I am a right arsehole now, I was much worse before I got wiser."

If this was considered her Wise version then previously she must truly have been a menace to polite society.

The chuckle turned into a heavier smirk.

Mercy leaned in a touch herself.

"Seems a waste of kisses, dear Lord." Purred there with that exact same sweet tone that had undone the insult just a moment ago. She shifted her head, showing the line of her jaw, the sharp cut of her cheek.

"There are better things than boots to kiss when it comes to me."

Not a direct request, but that coupled with the shift in position? It was practically an invitation.

But she didn't say it out loud. After all, Mercy had decided she wouldn't do the pursuing this time around.

It wasn't exactly a rule of hers not to pursue, just circumstance really.

Or perhaps a need to be wanted more than want.

The intent of Mercy's body language was clear however, enough to satisfy that desire and embolden the young Lord. And so she leaned in a final time, so close Kaila had to look from the corner of her eye and into hers.

A slow exhale, warm breath against her cheek.

Maybe she'd make an exception today, call it a business expense.

"
You know it may be hard to get rid of me, yes?" she warned, or dared.

"
I might insist upon setting up shop on Nar Shaddaa, part of our deal, of course."

"
I'd need allies. Someone who knows the territory, the players."

One last thin smirk.

"
What do you say?"

If she hadn't already been smirking, it would have materialized right there and then.

Instead it just became even more smug.

Mercy didn't get the impression that Ana was someone who expected exclusivity. Not with the way she flirted or the way she had talked about their mutual employee just a moment ago. If Mercy had gotten that impression, this would have gone a whole other direction. So there was no concern when she chuckled softly and lazily ran her nose along Kaila's cheek.

"Lord, why would I want to get rid of you? Gorgeous eyes, gorgeous face... I do believe we can do thorough business together." It was always nice when you could mix it all together.

Business together with joy together with opportunity.

Mercy didn't particularly care if Ana set up shop on Nar Shaddaa. She wasn't territorial like that, because as far as Mercy was concerned, everything was her territory.

Everywhere.

It would be hard to be territorial over the entire expanse of the Galaxy, no?

"So set up shop... it will only make it easier for me to find you. Whenever we need to talk... shop." Grinning a little at that double word-play.

"Hmh." she smiled sweetly, leaning into Mercy.

Her freckled skin was unusually soft even for her age, too much to be natural, yet entirely organic.

"
You'd be surprised," she stifled a chuckle "For some Sith, I was more trouble than they could handle."

A pause. her features froze, brows furrowed, as though trying to hold something back. Nevertheless she shook the thought away, choosing to focus on the here and now. Nar Shaddaa, and perhaps Mercy, represented an opportunity to revitalize old operations, expand outside the Blackwall. A new start, in a way.

She laid gloved hand on the woman's thigh to support herself, though as Mercy would soon discover, the young lord was freakishly heavy even for one toned as she.

Whatever laid at her core, it wasn't bone.

"So set up shop... it will only make it easier for me to find you. Whenever we need to talk... shop."

"Mm. My duties will keep me on Echnos primarily."

"
I'll be sure to visit though." Kaila smiled, turning closer.

"
So... here's to good business."

She laid a slow, glossy kiss on her cheek.

"There is no trouble I have met that I can't handle." She purred softly and allowed her to get closer. Interestingly enough when Ana rested her hand on her leg, she'd feel density in return. Mercy was meat, muscle and bone, but all of it heavier than it had any right to be. It was a part of her Firrerreo heritage.

It made her harder, healing faster, more animal like and with skin that was practically golden in the right light.

A soft growled purr when Ana kissed her cheek as invited. She smiled and breathed her in, warmly. This would usually be the time where Mercy would purr something like what a good girl.

Something told her that Ana was more likely to punch her through the throat if she tried that here though.

"Looking forward to your visits, Lord." She murmured instead and then drew herself back again. A smile on her face though as she took the glass and lightly ticked it against hers. No escalation this time around. It was... interesting. Usually Mercy was the one to simply grab someone by the throat, slam them into the wall and let them know that way that she wanted them.

Being pursued didn't particularly interest a predator like herself.

But... in a way this was a hunting of a different sort, she was starting to learn. Luring her prey. Letting them come to her... and savoring the moment-to-moment attention along the way.

"I will be sure to visit Echnos personally the first time." Mercy finally said after enjoying a sip from her glass. "Then you can... show me around?"
