Meetings of purpose and oppurtunity (Open)

Edwin finally retrieved his lightsaber. He stared on rather unimpressed with the fighting. It felt like it ended as soon as it started. Then again, he had been meditating a good amount of time. He wouldn’t particularly know. Edwin stared on as the other padawans begin to look at him. “Seemed no one in this blasted galaxy cares that you don't try to kill people,” He muttered irritably.

It seemed his time on this planet was finally done. With a sigh of relief he touched the earpiece in his helmet, calling his ship. “Hragnis, bring my ship over. I think it’s time we continue our search. This planet has been quite the annoyance recently.” The signature of the tusken showed no hope. Nothing, just a broken lost jedi who seemed to direly need purpose. And with a straight foward and simple one. But one of the most foolish that’ll never succeed.

In this galaxy, there will always be Sith and Jedi. Neither can eradiate the other as long as each philosophies stay eternal. And that was certainly an impossible task to destroy what can be written. What can be remembered. And what can be built upon. The galaxy needs a basis for everything to start on. A template. Especially for these force sensitives with no other purpose to their powers. To eradicate it would be near to impossible to begin with. Besides, Edwin had other priorities. He used this as his ‘break’ but now realized just how much of a fool he was for that. It no longer wasted his time, but also the time of that bounty hunter he agreed to help. “And if they attack the ship, just simply ignore it for once. These ones won’t be any close to a threat, for now.”

There was a chuckle at the end. Then a grunt. “Alright, so how am I to do so if I have claws?”

Edwin let out an irratible sigh, he knew the Sith Lord was messing with him. “Just use the force to press those buttons. I thought you were a powerful user?”

“I am,” He heard steam exhale from his shuttle from the holocall and the beeping of dials. “Tracking your coordinates now, I’ll be there in no time.” Edwin could only hope he wouldn’t run in an space officials on his way to get the acolyte. The Sephi stared at his approaching adversaries. He put away his blaster and lightsaber. His tactics was always to let his targets attack first. A typical immensely easy task. It kind of made him grin as the tusken approached him in a defensive stance. Seemed the fool expected Edwin to attack first. Why couldn’t anyone read Edwin? All he ever did was hide his alignment in the force and teachings. With a sigh, he awaited for his ship to arrive. He could easily defend if they came close to him. He began to meditate, to strengthen himself in the force. It was a shame he could never practice healing magic. It was the one part in the force he was the most fond of. Oh well, force push and force speed will have to do in combat for now.

Orion turned away from the others and looked to the acolyte. He began to walk in his direction and found that Jakkor was coming with him. "I will handle this. Contact Xiarr and tell him to bring the ship. We are gonna need it." He then pointed off to the west at the distant but incoming cloud. "There is a sandstorm coming and I don't think any of us want to be caught out when it gets here."
He then continued to advance on the acolyte, wielding no weapon. He left his lightsaber on his belt as he didn't want to come off as a foolish aggressor like most would. He wanted to test his adversaries abilities before blindly attacking. He had spent the entire battle studying the young Sith's abilities and was ready to fight her, but he had no idea what the acolyte was capable of.

Out of nowhere,a Saber would fly out of the sand and into the hand of Xiarr. He would jump off the rock formation and activate his saber,stopping Acolyte dead in his tracks. He would then point his Grey Saber to his neck.
Xiarr would state:"Don't even try it pal..."

The attempted saber strike was all Edwin needed. He quickly turned with the force, attempting to sweep the padawan from his feet whilst rapidly striking his shoulders, he hoped that would wind them enough. Once he was free from the poorly done lightsaber hold, Edwin drew his own, enterring a state of mind.

Every next attack that would come his way would be much easier to read now. No matter how unpredictable it might. "Give up," He warned. "This'll be a fight you can't win." Edwin wasn't trying to sound powerful. He was stating the truth. Maybe minus the one fellow who didn't engage anyone yet. Edwin didn't know his capabilities yet. Edwin himself had to get good at the saber. All of his masters would call him a failure and many would attack him for it. Like many before them, he was sure he'll be able to fend these guys off until Kuul'Ket arrived. It was always like it. Except it was more or less defending himself against his masters until they grew bored and relinquished him of their 'guidance'.

Jakkor would rush over from behind believing,he had the element of surprise on his side. He tries to attacks edwin with the falling avalanche strike. Then he starts to try to use the familar regiment of his using power strikes to weaken edwin's defenses.

He had no idea what this man was capable of,hell he didn't even know why was he here to begin with,but he was going to get the answers he needs. He drew heavily on the force to ampliphy the strength of his skinny frame. Such was a way for a practioner of Djem So. He asks three yet very easy questions,as his mind was mostly focused on the man's next move.
"Who are you?...Why are you attacking everyone in sight?,and What do you want with me?"

[member="Edwin Setyl"]@Xiarr Sair[member="Orion Trex"][member="Ariealla Vareldi"][member="Alana Vettry"]

Orion was ready. He was excited to finally get his chance to fight. He had watched the others this whole time and now it was finally his turn. And then Xiarr came out of nowhere and attacked the acolyte. And once Edwin deflected that, Jakkor came in and attacked as well. This did nothing but infuriate Orion. "They want to take the glory for themselves." He clenched his fist and growled in anger.

He then turned back to the young sith, who still seemed to be trying to help the young Twi'ek. He thought about helping her out, but his anger got the best of him. He instead turned back to the fight and raised both of his hands, his fingers all pointed at the acolyte. "Enough of this!" He sent a continuous stream of lightning out of both hands right toward the acolyte. He didn't care if he could block it, he was just so angry he wanted to do something.

He didn't care if the lighting hit the others, his only concern was the acolyte. He then yelled as loudly as he could over the crackling of the lightning. "I suggest getting out of the way you two!" He kept advancing on the acolyte and wouldn't stop shooting lightning. He wasn't going to stop until he was within striking distance.

Considering his centor of being, Edwin practically saw through what the tusken raider was trying to pull. Seemed they were unfamiliar with the technique to understand how it works. Or maybe they didn't expect a Sith to utilize it. What perplexed Edwin even more was the fact they attempted to use an avalanche strike at such an innapropiate time in the fight. It was a difficult skill to use. Not in prowess, but in timing. Strange they would use it so soon. Every single strike they threw at Edwin was easily blocked and parried thanks to his center of being.

Suddenly, force lightning was thrown his way. He expected the other sebsitive would attack, but not in such an uncontrolled way. Seemed they were perhaps stronger in the force than the saber, but that was more than an assumption than anything considering the logic of the use of time when it can to power or skill. Utilizing lesser krayt dragon style, he was able to block out most of it while also keeping the tusken who must've also been affected busy.

Edwin healed himself from the first strike which actually hit as he used the saber technique, he stared as the padawan came closer now. What were they planning? He wondered what that bounty hunter might do in the situation they seemed more seasoned than him. He remembered their fight with the zakkeg. They certainly seemed more straight foward than him. It gave the acolyte an idea. As he deflected the lighting, Edwin force leaoed into the air, utilizing force as he did so until he was behind the padawan. Edwin dudn't know if they still shooting lightning. All his focus was on the force healing and the unorthodox technique he was about to pull. With his lightsaber it the sand. He twirled his blade, causing sand to fly up in the air. He directed into a voracious cloud. Using the time he was concealed to pull out his blaster. He then suddenly leaped from the cloyd, aiming his blaster at the tusken as he shot off five rounds.

He used the giant sand cloud hopefully as a distraction, making it large enough to be unseen. Especially when he would leap out and attack the Jakkor fellow. There was no way he would be able to take down Orion. They were closer to him, so pulling off such a stunt against them was out of the question.

Jakkor was getting more and more frustrated with every passing moment. Not only did the acolyte ignore his questions,but jakkor only managed to get one strike to him,as the rest were easily blocked. He see's the lightning in the last second and before he could even raise his saber to even block he is caught in the blast,and is sent flying into the nearest sand dune writheing and screaming in utter pain and agony. "Ahhhhhhhhhn" The pain was so great that he felt his insides and his skin both burning inside and out. He tries to stay awake watching the fight but blackout's from the pain. His lightsaber sticking out from the sand only a few feet away from him.

Alana thanks [member="Ariealla Vareldi"] for helping her

"Thanks... But why did you help me?
Some minutes ago i was trying to kill you..."

Then Alana saw that the fight with the Acolyte started, she was impressed that [member="Orion Trex"] could use the Force Lightning, certainly Jakkor's group was strong with both sides of the force, but the acolyte was stronger or at least smarter, as the acolyte use the sand to hid Alana could hear the sounds of the blaster again, she use the force and step in front of [member="Jakkor Kess"] and with her saber deflect four of five shots as one hit her in the left shoulder and she fell to the ground

"Ungh... I wasn't quick enough..."

Alana stand up and she turn off one of her sabers and assume a defense position, with her leg and shoulder burning for the shot her only choice was to keep her distance and defend

"I like twi'leks." It was simple enough to her, she wanted the twi'lek for herself. She watched quietly as everything went down around her. The fool, lightning couldn't be sustained by an acolyte level for long without severe burns. Even she could no longer keep herself protected for long from the assault the ability would give her if she tried to use it.

She sighed and got up from the ground, moving over to [member="Jakkor Kess"] and [member="Alana Vettry"], making sure to pick up the tusken and hold him in a soldier's <fireman's> carry. His green aaber was reclipped to his belt, and she gave a look to the twi'lek. "If we move we can get to the town again and drop this guy off somewhere safe. Then you and I still have a duel to complete if you wish."

[member="Edwin Setyl"] [member="Orion Trex"] @Xiarr Sair

Jakkor faded in and out of consciousness he felt a pair of slendor arms pick him up,clip his lightsaber to his belt,and being thrown across a shoulder he see's a head of long white hair he speaks. "Ahh.. am I dead,because if I am I sure do like the treatment from a pretty girl..HEY!! Wait a minute. What are you doing?" He speaks to [member="Ariealla Vareldi"] feeling silightly embarresed and he blushes slightly,as he realizes who is carrying him trying his best to stay awake. He looks ahead,and see's his twi'lek padawan [member="Alana Vettry"] he asks her. "Padawan...what happened...?"

[member="Edwin Setyl"][member="Orion Trex"]@Xiarr Sair

"That guy [member="Orion Trex"] use the force Lightnings and you fainted"

Alana Speaks to the Tusken and then look at [member="Ariealla Vareldi"]

"I agree, let's go back to the town, in my actual condition i can do much... And sorry but our duel would have to wait...

He watched them stagger off toward town. He ended his stream of lightning and made his decision. He had distracted the acolyte long,enough so he was finished. Jakkor was his ride off world and he wasn't risking it by having a drawn out duel. He created another large cloud of sand to cover his escape and took off into the desert. The sandstorm was close now and he wasn't getting caught out.

@Xairr Sair [member="Jakkor Kess"] [member="Edwin Setyl"] [member="Alana Vettry"] [member="Ariealla Vareldi"]

Edwin watched as the good bulk of them run off. Sand flew everywhere trying to obstruct his vision. Seemed they gaved up. And it seemed they thought he might've chased them. No part of himself even showed that he's that agressive. At the same time, his imperial Shuttle had arrived towards his coordinates. The hatch opened, with a maalraas climbing out. What perfect truly it had. Truly. Sand was now flying like crazy around them as the storm became ever so closer.

"I thought you said they would be here?" His tones echoed through the force as he spoke.

Edwin gave a shrug. "They ran off..." His voice trailed off. Edwin slowly strode towards his shuttle, entering the cockpit. "Do you think Im intimidating?"

The maalraas strunched up his face in a strange way no one would see in such a creature. It's truly a surprise how many muscles are in their faces. "Honestly, I think you wouldn't harm a monkey lizard even if they stole your clothes if you had the chance"

It was a somewhat comfortable thought. But now, they had a mission to continue. A promise to keep. A Sith's life tends to full of treasure hunting, doesn't it? Pushing coordinates the two traveled off the plamet as they headed into hyper space. Their next stop: Balmorra.

//End scene

((Had fun guys, hope my advice has helped you. :) ))

Orion finally caught up with the others. He was finally going to get off of this accursed desert. He no longer had to deal with constant sandstorms and the exhausting heat every day. And he now had a sort of group he felt he could rely on. Except the sith woman. He still didn't really understand why she was there. She had been trying to kill them before and was now helping the wounded get to the ship. Didn't make any sense.

"Alright. I seem to have gotten away from the Acolyte. We might want to take off before the sandstorm gets here though. Taking off in that might be a bit of a mess." After a whole year he finally got to leave. He finally got to go travel the stars again and see worlds he hadn't seen since the war. And this time he wasn't traveling as a general or a sith assassin. Now he was traveling as just an unaffiliated rogue who really didn't belong anywhere.

He was sorry for hitting Jakkor with the lightning earlier. His rage had gotten the best of him and he regretted that. His confusion just drove him to grow angrier and angrier. He felt bad for the young Twi'ek. She seemed to be a good enough person, if not a little naive. She didn't really deserve to be shot by the Acolyte, and she definitely needed some sort of medical attention, even if only a little. Her blaster wounds could get infected if not cleaned and tended to. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small syringe and looked to Alana. "Here, this should numb the pain."

[member="Xiarr Sair "][member="Alana Vettry"] [member="Jakkor Kess"] [member="Ariealla Vareldi"]

Xiarr had plans to join the Galactic Alliance and fight against The One Sith in all out war,but he had wanted to hear Jakkors thoughts on the matter. The Ancient Outsider would hover above the area,and the platform to the ship would open. Xiarr would jump onto the platform and sit down in the pilot seat. He could finally leave this blasted planet once and for all.

Some hours passed since they run from the acolyte, the group finally enter in the town of Mos Eisley, she saw [member="Xiarr Sair"] entering a big ship, she assume that would be the ship of Jakkor and his friends, [member="Orion Trex"] approached her and gave her a small syringe for her wounds

"Oh... Thank you"

Although Orion was reserved he seemed like a nice person, after accepting the syringe she look at [member="Jakkor Kess"]

"Listen... I know i said that i would help you if you teach me the ways of the force... But i don't think you're the right person, you can't control your emotions i don't believe you can teach me much like that... Sorry and i hope you understand and respect my decision..."

Then walk a few steps and look at the whole group

"Well i think this is goodbye, it was a pleasure get to know everyone, i hope you succeed in your mission, i'll stay here for a little while, if somebody needs me i'll be in the cantina"

Alana left the group and enter the cantina, she ask for a Starfire 'skee and start thinking in her next move.

[member="Ariealla Vareldi"]

Xiarr would look at [member="Jakkor Kess"] under his mask,there would be a look of serenity.
He would say "She's right you know,I don't think any of us are fit to have a apprentice,truly."
Xiarr would enter the ship and wondered where [member="Orion Trex"] wanted to go.
[member="Orion Trex"]|[member="Jakkor Kess"]

Orion watched as Alana left. He wasn't surprised. Jakkor had experience during the clone war, much like him. But he never grew beyond the rank of padawan. He would likely be a master one day, but not now. Orion put his hand on Jakkor's back to help him up onto the ship. He had electrocuted him accidentally, the least he could do was help him onto the ship. Once he got him onto the ship, he looked to Xiarr. "Still want an ally? I have an extensive knowledge of the Outer Rim and I know locations of hidden bases all throughout the galaxy. And, having someone who knows the Dark Side well could help you in defeating the Sith. All their weaknesses are the same as mine and I know how best to exploit them. Either way I need a ride off this planet."
After getting Jakkor a seat he asked him. "Do you have anywhere you were planning on going? You sent out that transmission in search of allies. Did you find any?" Orion had completely forgotten about the Sith who had helped Jakkor get to the ship.
