Meeting of Interest

Tál looked to [member="Lady Kay"] as she spoke. She shook her head as Kay suggested to use her office to speak, "I would advise against that, the Legion has ears all over Commenor, except for one place, and though I would hate to admit it, Tydus had thee most secure location on the whole planet, thanks to the Shadow Legion, if you want to have a conversation in private, I suggest we use his office, he's paranoid and has the best security I've ever seen."

A brow was raised. Ears everywhere? Even in her own office? She looked to [member="Tydus Wryeens"] . "You have my office bugged? And you want me to trust you?" Kay looked to Einon. They would have to sweep the Palace and go through security checks of everyone, including the droids.

Kay shook her head and placed her tea cup down on a crate. The control that she thought that she had of her own planet seemed to be an illusion. Shadow Legion, hmm? Well she was no one's puppet. She turned around, with Einon following in behind her. "Surely I'm not being spied on everywhere...." She had her own quiet places of her own to venture, to escape from everyone. Or so she thought....

[member="Lady Kay"]

Tydus turned around now just pissed, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL HER ABOUT THE BUGS, NOW SHES PISSED!" Tydus shook his head and walked to the nearest thug in black and spoke to him slamming his hand into his open palm. He stayed quite do joy to interipting the speaking between Kay and Tál.

Tál looked over to Kay ignoring what Tydus was saying. Instead she spoke with Kay forgetting what Tydus was saying, "Some of the members of the legion, me included believe transparency with you will work better then threats, as for being spied on, the legion prefers to rely on what they hear themself then what others say, we believe the truth should always be free and available, no matter how scary it is, we usually don't keep secretes from one another, but the chairman has allowed me to speak alone with you, without them listening, the chairman trust you and thus they have decided to work with you then against you, Tydus doesn't trust you so he's chosen his direction, and I have chosen mine, shall we continue to his office now?"

Kay looked over her shoulder to [member="Tydus Wryeens"] as he yelled. Yes, she was angry, but more so feeling upset about her privacy being so violated. Were they watching her bed chambers as well? Of course all that they would hear would be of her sleeping and snoring, but still, it wasn't a comforting idea.

She stopped while Tál spoke of the Chairman and others with this legion of theirs. So no secrets? Did they want to see and hear everything going on with everyone's lives? That was wrong. It was bad enough that Kay hardly had any time by herself as it is. And now it seemed almost everywhere was bugged. She had a few ideas on how to avoid their snooping.

Kay sighed a little as Tál asked for them to go to Tydus' office. "Alright...fine...." She continued on to the office. There were loads of questions to be asked as soon as they were safe. Her gut feeling told her that she wasn't going to enjoy this. Did they know of her Force sensitivity? Oh she hoped not....

Tál lead [member="Lady Kay"] to Tydus office where she allows both Kay and the Body guards to enter the room. She was more trusting of friend of Kay then Tydus was. She walked over to the desk where she offers the seat she sat in before. Instead of taking the main seat where Tydus sat, she sat in a chair next to key. From there she let out a sigh and looked at Kay, "What I need to say is a long one, so let me finish and then I will hear your questions, ok?"

Tál leaned forward and began to tell Kay the origin of the Shadow Legion, "The legion itself isn't a criminal organization per say, Tydus just uses the name to garner support from the underworld and membership is completely secrete as to save the identity of those who protect the truth, many of the members of the Shadow Legion were citizens of both the Republic and the Sith, we saw our people hurt and die because they were not told the whole truth, the Sith had control of the whole media, as well as any form of information, but the Republic was no better, as they were pushed back, they did not inform its citizens of the attacks and like the Sith, controlled the only media that was told to us, and then both of these institutions fell, leaving its people to again suffer for their leaders mistakes. Our goal is to keep the Goverments honest, keep the flow of trustworthy information flowing to everyone who is willing to hear it,"

The Orange women took ahold of Kay's hand and looked deeply into her eyes, "I was the one who recommended you to the counsel, with the support of Jaster behind Tydus back, that is why we kept a close eye on you, and they have decided that you and your planet should be the beacon that will ignite the path of Truth."

OOC: I have no idea where I'm going with this, but I'm goin with it.

Both Kay and Einon stepped into the office. Whereas Kay retook her chair, Einon stayed next to the door, silent as always. She looked to Tál and nodded, agreeing to hold back her questions until after.

Many Governments controlled their own media. That was true. Kay tried to keep it all open, but still, there were secrets about herself that she didn't want revealed to the public or other Governments. And it seemed as though this Shadow Legion kept secrets from their own, [member="Tydus Wryeens"] included.

She raised a brow as it seemed as though Commenor was hand picked to be front and centre of this new wave. She looked down to her hand as Tál held it and then brought her eyes up to meet her gaze. "Not every secret or every fact should be made public. Openness is fine, but there is such a thing as too much of it. Take the Elders for example. Their whereabouts are unknown to most for good reason. They are the true rulers of Commenor, and there are many from all over that would love for a chance to find them and kill them. Only a select few are shown where they are, and are approved to meet them. Now what about this Council of yours? Can we get them to remove the bugs before I get someone else to do it?"

Tál looked at [member="Lady Kay"], she only nodded her head and closed her eyes with a sigh. As a member of the Shadow Legion such things could be done, and probably already being done the moment she opened her mouth. "We all understand that, we are against open conflict, so as such we don't dare military secretes unless it to level the playing field for all the players, but the truth should never be suppressed, not when it could save lives, and thus is why the Councle approves of you, why they have sent me to speak with you instead of Tydus,"

She took a breath, and then looked to the floor to think of how to put the words together. Then she looked up to Kays face, "They way that you have worked your government is the model we wish to show to the rest of the galaxy, the level of balance of transparency and secrecy that you have emplaced is well done and though it has some flaws like every government the Councle is still unanimous in wanting Commenor to be our home base and starting position to spread our influence, we will provide your government with any support it needs to survive and chalange you face, and as Minister of Justice with Tyduses help, we will control the flow of Crime to make it nearly non-existent, that I can promise."

Kay nodded. Saving lives was more important than her own secrets. The Elders made her promise to not hide her ability to use the Force if she was asked. She was not allowed to lie about it anymore. Fortunately, none have asked. And the Elders didn't tell her that she couldn't continue to suppress it, so she had continued to do so.

It was looking more and more like Tal might become a part of her Government, but still, there was a few questions left. "Why did Tydus have you all tied up, if you two are working together?"

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tál got a little uncomfortable with [member="Lady Kay"] sitting there in front of her. She slightly wiggled into her seat as trying to escape the question but decided that if she was gana work for Kay then she might as well speak up, "Since we might be working together I might as well tell you, Tydus found out a secrete I've been holding onto for a long time, about 7 years ago, I was a slave for the Hutt Cartel, some of the more personal ones at that, I was on my way to be transported when a raid on the compound, I was rescued by Jaster Awaud and..."

She took a deep breath and looked away from Kay, "Well you... You were the mastermind of the whole plan, while there were some other people involved, Jaster took me in as a refugee in one of his camps," she got up and began to pace around the room, "It was there I meet a man, we fell in love and were planning a future together, but Jaster wanted to send my to Rendili Academy where I wanted to become a cop, and he was sent on a secrete assignment by the Trade Conglomerate who he devoted his life to, long story short, Jaster contacted me after I became a Repunlic Marshal to tell me the man I loved was killed, and killed by the people who enslaved me, the Hutt Cartel."

She stopped pacing and looked to the floor, her body froze and she didn't look at Kay at all, "I quit the Marshal Services and hunted down the membership, what I did after catching them, would ruin the career for anyone," She looked up to the ceiling, not knowing what to do next, "Tydus caught me and made me a member of the Shadow Legion, he was ordered by Jaster to give me a new perpose, thus I am here, to redeem myself from my past, Tydus just holds it over my head and he pisses me off, so we fight like children."

Kay watched Tál as she paced, listening to her story. If this was a ploy, she was falling for it hook, line and sinker. But if it wasn't, then that was all the better for those involved. Kay had run so many missions against the Cartel, that it was hard to remember all of them.

After Tál was finished, Kay got to her feet and waited for their eyes to meet before she spoke. "My late husband would have done the same thing, if he was in your position, and I wouldn't of hated him for it. And I highly doubt that Tydus has a clear conscience when it comes to dealing with his adversaries." Kay smirked a little. More than likely it was the pot calling the kettle black. "I will talk it over with the other Ministers and have them look over your credentials. More than likely they'll agree to have you join us. Alright?"

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tál looked to [member="Lady Kay"], she nodded her head but made a beeline for Kays hands, she still had something to say, "Tgere is one more thing that I unfortunately have to warn you about, the Shadow Legion does not trust your other minister yet, so we urge you not to tell them about the Legion, let them think the Legion is still a Criminal Syndicate that sold weapons to the government and made a promise to keep a suppression on the local criminal activities, the Legion is still a Secret Society and many of our members were not well liked by neither Sith or Republic before the collapse."

She walked over to Tydus' desk, from there she brought out a data-pad, but it looked different then most. It was not as bulky as the my normally were, and more of a notebook size then the smaller screened ones. It's screen was also five times the size of a normal one with words easier to read. She looked at it to make sure it was the right one, then turned to Kay closing wherever it came from. "As a sign of trust from me to you, I'll tell you this, the Shadow Legion is making a play for the Core and Colony Worlds, we already are making contacts in the Rendili, Neimoidia, and Nubian systems, these are the contact names," She handed a Datapad of very influential names that had recently come to power and one name that was the CEO of Rendili Biggest company. "We have even decided to make alliances with multiple Criminal and Trading Elements as to prevent all out war in the old Republic Regions, we will do our best to keep the peace, but Tydus has been tasked with leading the negotiations, so we don't know how well it will go, if you need any help, reach out to me or Tydus, you can officially call the Shadow Legion an ally."

Kay held the woman's hands, furrowing her brows at the request for secrecy. It wasn't as though she was going to tell everyone. In truth out of all of her Ministers, she trusted only one of them completely, which was why she gave him the task of handling foreign affairs. He would secure Commenor's interests above all others, whereas others might be more selfish. And it wasn't as though she was well liked by the Sith and Republic either. Kay had her own enemies.

She looked to the datapad that Tál handed to her and scrolled through the names. "And what is the Shadow Legion's overall goal for this sector and the others? I don't wish to be in anyone's pocket with things hanging over my head and I already have various enemies snooping about. You say that you and this Council trust me so much, yet I'm not yet completely sure that I can say the same thing. What if one of those Criminal Elements decides to attack myself or Commenor and you are already making money from both. Would it not be counter productive for you to try to maintain peace?" Credits is usually what made the Galaxy go round.

She looked over to the women and spoke up there. She looked oddly confused and then thought about it for a second. She then spoke up, "Madam President, we have agreements that if any illegal activity happens within our sphere of influence happens without our knowing then that would mean war, as such you would have a full support of the Shadow Legion as well as list of all our clients we sold weapons to, an attack on Commenor is something the Council does not want, as this planet would be an all out base for us."

This was true, the Legion didn't have enemies, and was in the game of creating allies at the moment.

Kay nodded. "I only ask because Commenor does have others that pose a threat to it. Mainly because I rub certain people the wrong way, if you catch my meaning. But if your Council have been watching me for a while, then I suppose that they would already know that."

She handed Tál the datapad. "I'll talk to the other Ministers-without divulging your secrets, and have them meet you. If you are all going to work together, then you all need to know who you are."

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

The woman walked away from [member="Lady Kay"], she took the Data-Pad away with her. She made sure to walk away from the door so she could leave the way clear for Kay to leave. She then nodded slowly to the president and spoke, "Thank you madam President, we... I will do my best to fight crime as your Minister of Justice, with the help of Tydus we will work together to make the world a better protect Commenor."

Kay got to her feet. As Tál was leaving, she took a step before speaking, "Wait....Would the Shadow Legion want an Embassy? Or would this warehouse suffice?"

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tál looked at [member="Lady Kay"] with almost a smirk on her face, did this women just ask if a Secrete Society of people who were bent of the secrecy of their member would like a Embassy. She shook her head to notify the President, 'No'. "I don't think that would be a good idea ma'an, I will be your direct link to the Shadow Legion in case you need any assistance and I will contact Tydus or the Council depending on the request."

Kay sighed a little, realising how her question may have sounded. "What I meant was that they could use it as a front for...well, nevermind. I'll talk to you later." She nodded her head towards the door, indicating to Einon that she was heading out. The inspection was over. The shopping was over. And now she had her Ministers to talk to about a small and selected portion of what they had discussed and the decisions that were made. Oh what fun. Hopefully, she made the right choices here.

[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

She let [member="Lady Kay"] exit without a complaint, she just nodded as the women passed her. "It was a pleasure to meet you ma'am."

Tál followed her out to where they walked together to the exit and escorted her out. They said their goodbyes as the president left the complex of Galactic Trade Inc. As the door closed and Tál returned the complex that Tydus was last seen. Two guards in One Sith armor appeared, however they were shined in flat black color, not the crimson white. Tál just nodded to them and they stepped aside. Tydus was sitting there with his Dia Sha-Dow agents. "How did the meeting go Punk?" He was sitting on a crate running his Faceplated jaw. He was still in pain from her punch.

Tál and the two blacked soldiers behind her stood at attention, "What's with the Legionaries, I thought the councils would let me use the Minsters Guard?"

Tydus jumped up off the crate and waved his hand, "They did, they are just back up for the planet for some of the less desirable stuff, my orders."

Tál placed her hand on her hip and shook her head, "We should have told her you are a sitting member on the council, she's going to find out."

Tydus shook his head and walked toward the shadows, "Your assignment is to secure Commenor as a base of operations for the Legion, now if you will excuse me I have a meeting with [member="RadioWhisper"] about the next broadcast, stay on track Tál." and with that he vanished into the shadows, off to disturb another planet.
