Meeting of Interest

[member="Lady Kay"] was a bit more trouble then he originally though, but if they were friends with Master Awaud, then they had to be stubborn. The old man never was good at making friends, just people he spoke to every now and then. He however went out of hidding to call this person a friend, he knew she could see right through him.

He took the ledger and nodded, "Very well then madam President." he lead her to the door where he opened it and saw that tower of a man, just standing there. Now there's dedication, he thought to himself. He turned to Kay, "Are you ready to go?"

Finally [member="Tydus Wryeens"] gave in. She got to her feet and followed him to the door, tea in hand while she noted his pause. Ahhhh. Seeing Einon, she smiled a little. He was a good man, and very loyal. Veiere did well in choosing him.

"I have been ready since I first stepped into this property. So...after you." No doubt some of the time already wasted was being used to hide things that he didn't want her to see. But maybe not all of it was hidden from view. Einon of course followed in behind Kay. She was his responsibility afterall.

Tydus only smiled to the hulking man, then proceeded to place his faceplate back on and click it into place, then messing around with his throat. He then lead the way with [member="Lady Kay"] and her body guard in close pursuit. They walked down to the main Starport where the ship before had just left, the deckhands and port staff were getting ready for the next ship to come in. Some of the workers noticed Kay walk by, but the look of concern entered their face as they saw Tydus walk by as well. They didn't stop and continued to work, even though a smile came across their face as they nodded to President Kay. "Seems your very popular with the civilians of this planet, rather nice not seeing them cower in fear when I enter a room."

They made their way to the warehouse complex, where Tydus entered a code to the door. The door opened and they walked in. The sight of the interior was more then just a warehouse, it was more of a hanger or dry dock for capital ships. The whole place was filled to the brim with creates, droids, and even starships hanging from the ceiling. "Well here's what we got, Umbrella weapons are in the top layer of the creates, dig deep enough and you'll find the Sith Weapons, over 10,000 tons of weapons in all not including the vehicles."

Kay followed [member="Tydus Wryeens"] through port. She picked up on the fearful looks that they gave Tydus and she raised a brow slightly. And yet they smiled when they saw her. Was it relief? Maybe she'd talk to a few of them later. She smiled in return to them, bowing her head as she passed. "They call me the People's President. I ran on a platform that included everyone, regardless of their position. I like to think that I'm approachable. If they have concerns, I'd like to know about them so that they could be addressed."

As they entered the warehouse, her jaw dropped slightly. Sure she used to be the COO of a weapons and armour company before, and the CEO of multiples, but to see so much crammed into the warehouse was quite the sight. Starships hanging from ceilings was an added touch to the confined space. "Wow. How quickly do you need to refill your stock?" It'd give her an idea of how armed people out there are becoming and how much in danger they feel they are in.

Tydus looked at [member="Lady Kay"], he was a little confused by the question, but then he thought about it for a second. She was interested less in how quick he restocked, over how often he sold the weapons. To be truthful, she just had lucky timing really, he was returning from his Raid from Kaut. These weapons, vehicles and other such were just about to be shipped off to Comglomerate Prime, but rumors of the First Order and the Commonwealth were unsettling so he kept them here. He looked back at the stockpile of military equipment, "Amazing isn't it, Master Awaud used this hanger to load and unload 100,000 cargo frieghters crossing between Republic and Sith space, during the claps though, it fell under disorder, and had to be refurbished into a Warehouse."

He waved a Astro-Mech to roll over to them, then pulled a cord from his arm and plugged it into the droid. Tydus didn't really have the processing speed to understand binary, but he was able to display the translation in his head. He was speaking to the droid, telling it to assist them in finding the Sith Weapons they stole last week. After a second, it beeped and whistled, then moved next to Kay. "This is R8-D0, he'll help us navigate the warehouse, as for restock, your just lucky, we returned from a raid last weeks so we are in the middle of processing."

Kay nodded to both [member="Tydus Wryeens"] and the droid R8-D0. "That would be most helpful, thank you." She had never explored the place while Jaster ran it, for she was too busy either with the Senate or in Hutt Cartel space. More so in the latter. But now she had to keep all of her concerns on Commenor.

As R8 rolled along, she followed. "So, with these raids, are there chances that those that you steal from would make their way back here? I only ask because I wouldn't want any trouble to come here. That isn't to say that we aren't prepared, but I'd rather avoid it if necessary. And are there weapons of mass destruction on a colossal scale? Those are the types of weapons that are illegal here, of course."

Tydus nearly chucked at the though of being caught in this day and age, everything was in total chaos. He decided to hold back as to not insult [member="Lady Kay"], a prospected buyer of his products. Instead he paused to pretend he thought about it, but the truth of the matter was that Kuat was now in total chaos after the break of the Sith. Not including the raid that Tydus and the Black Suns did, but Kaut was also going through a strife of some sort. They didnt care too much about some missing Sith equipment. He decided to speak after enough time passed that it looked like he was actually thinking about it.

"I think you and your planet are safe Madam President, Kuat Shipyards has an iron grip on the planet, and the Sith are completely broken, no one cares about these weapons going missing, all weapons are sith, so it would only depend on what you call illegal, correct?"

He opened a create nearest him and let Kay take a look at the product inside. The create was filled with blasteres. He had permission to transport these weapons.

Kay nodded. "Yes, just because they are Sith weapons, it doesn't make them illegal. Being formally under Sith control, it is not unheard of to find them here."

She looked down to the crate that [member="Tydus Wryeens"] had opened. "I just don't want them to be used against us...."

Commenor was a planet of peace and commerce. She didn't want there to be war. Yet Kay wasn't a lady without enemies. "Do you have anything to combat Force Users? And what about anything to pierce Beskar?" This was starting to go from an inspection to a shopping trip.

Tydus nodded as [member="Lady Kay"] spoke, all the weapons he held on to were of special design. He took interest in these certain items and took the ones he liked the best. As such he liked taking things that would hurt him, as a Force User, Breaker Grenades were a special commodity. Thus was the reason he stole such a commodities, but they were in limited supplies. He was only able to smuggle 6 creates of Grenades out of the old Sith borders. It wasnt easy and it took way too long to get them to Commenor where he was then planning to get them to another planet to take care of a little..... Problem. Then whatever was left was being shipped off to make some border dealings.

He looked over to the small droid, nodded and said, "Show her, she seems like someone who will find out eventually, but only a single one, we need the rest."

The droid beeped and went away to a corner of the warehouse, and Tydus went over to Kay where he then said, "We do, but I can only provide you with one case of them, then you can take them to your friends and build a production line of your own."

Tydus now walked away and leaned against one of the creates, "As for if they will be used against you, depends on this next conversation, I'd like to talk about payment."

She watched the droid as he wandered off. So too did Einon. And as [member="Tydus Wryeens"] stepped towards Kay, he moved right to her side, narrowing his eyes somewhat in warning. He wasn't entirely so trusting of the man, and probably the same could be said in reverse.

Kay pondered on the offer to replicate the weapons. Usually they would be restricted from doing so, but now that they had permission, they were sure to get on that soon enough.

Tydus then stepped back again, but was that a veiled threat that he spoke? Kay raised a brow slightly. "If you think that we weren't going to compensate you for your goods, then you'd be mistaken. The Commenori don't make it a habit to steal."

He enjoyed this little pow-wow with [member="Lady Kay"], her body guard was just as entertaining. Tydus was a Cyborg with force powers and was trained as a child by a Mandalorian and Jedi, it was fun to see him act tough. He leaned over almost in a fit of a laugh, but held it in. He regained his posture, and looked at the two of them. He nodded and stood up strait. "I am not so petty as to ask for money or objects, I have enough of both really, but speaking with you now, well I'd like to offer my assistance, as payment you can place one of my men as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, sound like a deal?"

This was a going as planned, he had a plan as soon as Kay walked into his office.

Kay blinked. Did she just hear correctly? Did [member="Tydus Wryeens"] just ask her to put one of his men in a high position in government? And what a choice too. This was indeed all part of some plan of his that he was working on all along.

She tilted her head to the side a bit, curious as to how Tydus would respond to her answer. It would surely give away some of what he was truly after. "I do believe that Minister [member="Riven Black"] already has his own Deputy. Such a high position would demand a lot of trust, and I would hate for Minister Black to not have a say in the matter. Surely you have a back up plan in mind?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

Tydus smiled behind his mask, time to see if the plan would work out in his favor. He slouched over slightly and let out a sigh, "Acturally that was my plan, I wanted to help keep crime on Commenor to a maximum low, as such both Commenor would be rid of crime and none of my property would be stolen, what will I do?"

Tydus walked around in a Simi-Circle and tapped the bottom of his mask with his cybernetic limb. This made a quite mechanical tapping noise that somewhat echoed in the warehouse. He was thinking as to what to do. Then he stopped walking and pointed the tapping fingurs upward like he had an idea. This forced him to turn on his heels and face the president, "How about the Minister of Justice, you agree to that and I promise to not sell weapons to people who would threaten Commenor Planetary Security, that sound like a deal?"

Both Einon and Kay watched as [member="Tydus Wryeens"] put on a little theatrical display. She knew of another that did the same thing, but even more so for entertainment. Yet she would never doubt the old man's motives. Tydus was a different matter.

Minister of Justice? Kay furrowed her brows. He obviously did his homework as it was a role that was still vacant after she got rid of the corrupt Ministers. It was a powerful position, one that came third after her own and the Vice President. The Minister of Justice had the power to enforce the laws and even to change them. Of course they would need both her and the Elders' approval, but still, it was a very high position to just be 'given' away. Of course she was probably being played and manipulated. But she had the Commenori to look after. She had to think of them above herself. And it could be worse. He could have asked to arrange a marriage. She smirked to herself at that notion, in an attempt to force down the bad feeling rising in her gut.

"I am not entirely comfortable with giving such a high level position to a complete stranger. Have that person meet me in my office so that I could ascertain as to whether or not they are suited for it." There was of course a lot of responsibilities to go with it and she had hoped that maybe [member="Veiere Arenais"] would take the job. But...plans change.

Tydus got a little gitty inside as [member="Lady Kay"] stated she would thing about it, as if she was really in a position to say no to him. He turned his head and whistled as Kay mentions to meet the person later. After his whistle he spoke, "Why wait, let's meet her now."

As he said this there was several grunts and the sound of crates kicked around. A struggle was happening behind some of the crates as someone was brought out from behind the crates and weapons. A Twi'lik was being dragged out by two large humans in black cloaks. She was tied up and gagged but was still fighting the two every step they took. As she was brought out she was shadows and in front of Kay she stopped for a second, then she layed her eyes on Tydus. She let out a furry of kicks and grunts all aimed at Tydus. The Masked Man could do nothing but sigh, "Now before you get all upset President Kay, she kinda deserved this, second, meet Ex-Republic Marshal Tál Martec, graduate of Rendili University with a major in Criminal Justice before the Sith took the planet, and served as a Commenor Police Officer for 3 years before being promoted to the Republic Marshals Agency, you know, the guys who capture bad people when they escape from prison, ya those guys, anyways she's the one I nominate to serve as Minister of Justice, one hell of a resume if I say so."

Tydus walked over to Tál and got up close to her face where she stopped struggling, "I think she's less piss- He wasn't able to finish as the Twi'lik head butted him straight in the metal faceplate. She didn't even grown in pain, she just kept looking up at him as the two men held her back.

Kay raised a brow as [member="Tydus Wryeens"] whistled. The sound of a struggle was heard and her jaw dropped slightly as the woman was bound and gagged. She was shocked and appalled. Just who was she dealing with here? Einon didn't much care for it either and he gave Tydus a stare with narrowed eyes.

After Tydus finished speaking, Kay stepped forward, her eyes focused on him as she controlled her anger. "She deserves it? No one deserves to be treated so shamefully. Now let her go." Before she does anything drastic. She wanted to add that she'd remove his permits, but at the moment both herself and Einon were outnumbered. What sort of game was he playing at? Tál could easily run away once she was out of the warehouse district, just as Kay would do if she was in her position. So what was the catch? What blackmail would prevent her from doing so? Regardless, she had to tread very carefully.

Tydus was thrown back by the twi'leks head butt , and stopped from yeeling as [member="Lady Kay"] made her statement. The man told up from his crouched position, and let out a sigh. The Twi'lek was still struggling until Kay mad her statement, then she cooled off and only tried to to shrug off the hands holding her. "This women hates my guts, she tries ever chance she gets to beat me to near death," He let off a deeper sigh, and waved his hand palm down, "I will take off the gag and the ropes binding her shoulders, but her hands stayed tied, there are too many guns around within arms reach, and she will shoot me."

The black robed men looked at each other and began to take off the ropes and gag last. This was meet with the women using her shoulders to knock the men aside and began to charge Tydus. He expected at much as he dodged the woman and she crashed into the crates behind him. The guards regained their footing and then moved to hold her. Succeeding Tydus gave Kay a look like 'Told You'.

The women glared at Tydus, "Tydus you know I don't like being tied up, now let me go and we can finish that conversation." She continued to struggle to get away to make another attempt.

"I'm not dumb Tál, youll break my rib cage like last time, anyways meet my new friend President Kay."

She stopped struggling, then looked at Kay, then back at Tydus, "You expect me to believe the glorious president Kay, the one who rescued me from the Hutts, made friend with a Scum Bag like you."

Tydus just let out an angry grunt and looked over to Kay and her bodyguard, "She hates me cuz I found out her secrete and want to kill me before I tell anyone, WHICH I SAID I WOULDNT AS LONG AS YOU WORK WITH ME!!!" He yelled loud enough so the stubborn Til'lek would hear him. She responded with spitting on Tydus foot with a sly grin.

Kay and Einon just looked at eachother for a moment during the spectacle. What seemed like a kidnapping at first, now seemed to almost be like a lover's quarrel. She rubbed her temples a bit as the two argued and then interjected. "Alright! Enough, you two! Tál, please come with me so that we can talk and figure this out. I'm not saying that the job is yours yet, just to be clear..." It was an odd situation to be in and she wanted more facts and a clear head to try to figure out this game that [member="Tydus Wryeens"] was playing. No doubt he wanted his goods, illegal or not, to pass through Commenor freely. But why insert someone that he was blackmailing into her government?

She sipped her tea. "After we talk I'll need a couple of days to make my decision. It's not as easy as hiring a security guard..."

[member="Lady Kay"]

Before Tydus could get his words out of his mouth Tál spoke up, "Wait... Is she really.... You got President Kay to speak to you if all people?"

Tydus ignored her and placed his left hand on his face shaking hide head. He was trying to get her a job that would help him out, but also get her in a position of influence for the Legion. She knew that this was important, and now she was just being a pain about it, trying to wrap her head around the idea of Tydus Acturally doin the job he was told to do. He looked at Kay, then nodded, "Fine, but if I remember correctly, you need these weapons and vehicles, if you trust me even the slightest, she's the girl for the job."

He waved to his men and they untied her hands and let her up. She immediately walked over to Tydus and punched him in the jaw, where he properly reacted with a grunt, but still stood upright, "That's for tying me up." She then proceeded to walk up to Kay and speak with here, Tydus was mostly just annoyed.

She walked up to Kay and bowed her head slightly, "How may I help you today Madam President." She said this much more softly and kinder then when she was speaking to Tydus. Taking a closer look at her, she was a little more muscular then most female Twi'leks. Her skin and eyes were orange and her lips a darker shade. She did not try and avoid Kay's eyes, and instead looked apon her in admiration.

Kay looked to [member="Tydus Wryeens"] . Yes she needed his weapons and ships, if anything they could be added to her growing fleets. But still, this was a bizarre situation to be in.

She smirked as Tydus was punched in the jaw. Yes, he deserved that. If she was Tál, she would have done the same thing. But there was hardly a time that she was ever tied up. Most people didn't see her as a big enough threat to do so. And that was fine by her.

Kay turned to Tál as she approached and spoke in the manner of a secretary, or as though she was speaking to royalty. But Kay wasn't the snooty type. "Well first off, you and I need to go to somewhere private so that we can speak. Perhaps my office?"
