Meditation: Masters on Mimban

Temple of Pomojema - Three Kilometres West Thereof
Mimban

He had decided to walk his way in. Jungles were becoming standard fare for the backdrop to his meditations, the choice of location decided upon by mere inklings in the Force, happened upon by prior meditations. The last time, it turned out that there had been a reasonhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/24117-the-long-road-of-redemption-all-them-lightside-crew/ for his presence on that world in particular. He considered, as he moved closer to the Temple of Pomojema step-by-step, whether there was a purpose to being on this world, as well. Despite the evidence of the Force using him well to its design, he found a certain gladness in himself at setting foot on Mimban again. It had, after all, been some time. His padawan, Kala’ndryl, was used to his seeming need to take these trips and though it would be a good experience to bring her along, there was need for doing this alone… she was far, far from ready, at any rate. It had been but a month since he had taken her on. Soon enough. Everything in its time.

This deep in the jungle, this far back amongst the swamps with the temple in sight, there was nothing for the Mimbanites, and the Coway were content to keep to themselves in caves. Thus far, he had not encountered any Wandrella, but did not discount the possibility. He could feel the life around him keenly and would have fair warning if one of the large, non-sentient worms gained proximity. It simply would not do to have lived so long to be devoured by such a creature, and he was not in the least bit adept in the mental control of beings, sentient or not. His skills lay very much in other areas.

The notice of two presences entering the field of his senses gave him pause, stopping him in his tracks for several moments as he considered them, how they felt. He had not felt them sooner, as though the reach of his senses was far and wide, it was far better with meditation, and today he was limiting himself on purpose. It had been some time, after all, since he had last felt genuine surprise, being a difficult man to sneak up on. Determining they were no threat to him or the natives, from what he could determine through the Force - more adepts, stronger than that which he had encountered in the last jungle, but far more… serene - he continued on, pushing a long, thick vine out of his path, considering the possibilities of what they were here for and what the Force was trying to tell him, bringing him to meet with other adepts in more than one place.
