Aids force attunement and meditation
The crystal helps the user during meditation, and keeps them in tune with the force, especially when exerting force energy -- allowing them to retain energy, rather than lose it.
Delicate, the crystal can be damaged or broken completely by a even a glancing blow.
While planning curriculum for her younglings, Celeste Rigel realized the importance of helping her students create their own items. The task of making a force aid of their own not only required creativity, but a level of focus, too. As such, she felt it was fitting that one of the first trinkets in her lesson plan was a very simple focus aid.
Not only for younglings, this amulet is a useful tool for any force-user.
It is often created first, as it is fairly easy to put together. Each student is able to select their own meditation crystal shards to use. For her youngest students, Celeste buries a variety of the shards in their sand table -- allowing them to select crystals by touch. The students are then able to attach a fitting to their crystal and string it on a length of leather cord. They are free to use a variety of other beads to adorn their necklace, if they would like.
Older students often opt for a simple silver chain.
Such a focus aid is useful for daily meditation and during practice. The crystal helps keep the user in tune with the force, especially when force energy is being exerted.
