DESCRIPTION
In the Wake of large confrontations such as the Battle of Csilla and the Battle of Korriban , the Brotherhood of the Maw and the Final Dawn have lost a huge amount of Starfighter Pilots depleting their manpower and causing them to lose many skilled pilots at the hands of numerically superior foes such as the Galactic Alliance , New Imperial Order and Ashlan Crusade. In order to deal with the excessive loss of skilled pilots , Marlon Sularen , Grand Overseer of the Final Dawn moved forth to begin the development of a new Cheap Droid Starfighter capable of filling up the role of Organic-Piloted Craft and ensuring that the Final Dawn could maintain Starfighter superiority in the many engagements to come.

This came in the form of the Mark-I Short-Range Attack Fighter of the SRAF , a Droid Starfighter designed primarily for Short-Range Combat and to overwhelm Enemy Starfighters in order to achieve Starfighter Superiority in large confrontations similar in scale to the ones at Csilla and Korriban. Given that it's primary function is to overwhelm enemy Starfighters , the Mark I SRAF's main strength is their agility and sheer strength in numbers allowing single SRAFs to evade enemy starfighters at ease while also allowing SRAFs to overwhelm entire enemy starfighter squadrons and support ships with sheer numbers. However due to this , they have not been equipped with Hyperdrives and only contain few weapons and little defenses meaning that only a few shots would be enough to destroy a single SRAF.

Nevertheless , the SRAF has yet to be deployed on the Battlefield and whether it is an effective fighter or not has yet to be seen although the Grand Overseer has high hopes for the SRAF as it will represent the first of the Final Dawn's Next Generation of Starfighters and Warships envisioned by Project Warmonger.
