Due to her pale nature, environmental lighting often adds different hues to Marionn's hair. With her thin frame, the plunging necklines and loose-fitting nature of her garb doesn't seem out of place.

BIOGRAPHY:
Marionn L'sa; daughter born of the union of a then-mercenary of a father (now CIS agent) and Echani mother. Due to the nature of her father's employ, Marionn grew up without one single world to call home. Instead, she came to realize that home was simply wherever her family was able to come together. Still, she didn't grow up in want of stable mentors. Her mother, Elenna, served as her connection to Echani culture. As an accomplished warrior, still very much in touch with a number of old friends back home, she strove to teach her daughter not only her people's way of speaking through combat, but to instill within Marionn a profound respect for herself; as an Echani female, a representative of her race, she was hard-pressed to maintain a sense of poise through uprooting again and again, but somehow, she managed it.

Not long after her twelfth birthday, Marionn was discovered to be force-sensitive by a visiting friend of her father's, a Knight of the templar. While he attempted to explain the benefits of journeying with him to find a master while she was still young, Marionn chose instead to remain with her mother. The two were incredibly close, and in her young mind, Marionn couldn't imagine stretching that bond over the stars without it shattering. It was with a hint of fear that she remained with her mother, a stubborn refusal to leave behind the one person she could relate to most. Still, the Knight left behind numerous ways to contact him should she change her mind.

Her teenage years were riddled with accidental force mishaps, but the majority of them were so very minor that she wasn't reprimanded for them; during academy hours, particularly during physical education hours, she would often find herself subconsciously using the force to push herself just that little bit further, to jump that little bit higher, or run that one second faster. She was banned from physical competitions when it was found out, but that didn't stop her from being a part of numerous clubs and simply sitting on the sidelines to cheer on her classmates. As with many teenage females, it was during the last couple years of her schooling career that she found a couple sweethearts who fell in love with her, perhaps for her intellect, perhaps for the tone fitness of her body, or maybe even the passion with which she pursued her studies.

Her first year of post-secondary, she met a handsome human male by the name of Ivan Gregorvich. While he studied intergalactic relations, his dream of becoming an accomplished painter was what drew her to him. Initially, they bonded through the few general studies courses they had together and the Art club held every two weeks on campus, but it was hardly a couple months later that they actively sought each other out. It became apparent that they had become enamored with one another. As they drew closer and closer together, their grades suffered marginally, but it was a small price to pay for the small slice of heaven they found in each other's arms. The couple spent their days in a love-inspired bliss.

During this time, however, Marionn began to spend less and less time with the mother she had clung to so closely in her youth, even opting to stay behind when her father was stationed elsewhere in CIS space. Elenna followed her husband, leaving Marionn to her own devices; at 22, her daughter was more than able to take care of herself.

Unfortunately, this world isn't one for fairytales.

One night, after attending a party at a mutual friend's dorm, Marionn sat with her cheek leaning lightly against the shoulder of her beloved in the back of a taxi cruiser. Her blue eyes cast outward to the beautiful lights of the city below them, she felt herself slowly relaxing. Ivan wrapped an arm around her waist, murmuring to her about their plans for the future, detailing trips to all her favourite places (a discussion they'd had not two nights prior). For a number of weeks, Marionn had done her best not to question the occasional night that Ivan didn't come home, or the long stretches of time that he would decline her requests for communication with cryptic responses at best, but this not being her first relationship, she recognized the signs, but hoped that through her efforts to improve herself and their relationship, Ivan would realize on his own that infidelity wasn't the answer... But as much as she wanted to believe that he had simply forgotten a number of her favourite things, as he rambled on about planets and systems she had never so much as heard about, she knew at that moment that he had found someone else. A deep, paralyzing sadness seeped into her core as she pulled away from him, profound to a point that she subconsciously reached into the force for solace; a mistake, no doubt, as the engine of the unmanned cab began to fail due to the disturbance. But over the hysterical argument, the pair couldn't hear it. Navigation systems down and propulsion systems offline, the taxi slowly glided in a sloping path ever-downward.

Marionn only looked up at the sounds of frantic screaming, moments before the taxi grazed the side of a highrise, shredding it just about down the middle. Ivan was instantly gone, skewered on glass and metal even before the shuttle ground to a halt. Dumbfounded, Marionn tried to process what happened, her anger forgotten as her hands fluttered uselessly toward the empty space where Ivan had just been. She passed out not too much later from her own injuries, just as the proper authorities arrived on the scene.

After being released from the hospital, it took some time before she remembered the familiar feeling she had tapped into in her anger just before the crash as the Force. Devastated, Marionn didn't have it in her to inform her parents, not quite so soon after the tragedy. Though the case of the Taxi's crash had been ruled as a simple malfunction, Marionn knew what had really happened. Guilt-plagued, she bought herself tickets to Roon, using the name of her father's old friend to buy her some credibility. Confessing her force-sensitivity, Marionn was soon accepted into the Templar, but excused herself from the usual Master-apprentice search for the better part of the year under the pretense of grieving Ivan. In truth, she used the Sanctum as an escape, the atmosphere perfect for healing. It was during this time that she decided that the only way to alleviate some of her guilt was to harness her gift. She owed Ivan that much, at least.
