STRENGTHS
Force Resistance: Due to the treated terentatek leather used in the creation of the straps that fit the shield to the arm of the wearer the Teroch Shield has some degree of resistance to the force which is transferred from the Terentatek itself. Uses of Force Push/Pull are largely ineffective against the shield meaning it can create an effective barrier against its wearer and a Jedi attempting to use such powers against them.
Durable: The Beskar overlay used to create the shield renders it virtually immune to attacks from Lightsabers, Blasters, Slugthrowers, etc. As long as it is positioned within the line of fire as it were it creates a relatively stable barrier that protects anyone behind it.

WEAKNESSES
Bulky: A Teroch Shield is quite heavy and requires a degree of physical strength to use effectively. Those with average musculature will usually tire quickly carrying the shield and a smaller physique almost ensures the shield will be to cumbersome to use at all. Only someone who is large and physically capable can use the shield for prolonged periods of time.
Situationally Effective: Despite its resistances a Teroch Shield is, at the end of the day not an advanced piece of technology nor is it a suit of armor. The Shield is meant for melee combat between two or more foes or as a breaching device used to soak up enemy fire. It is, also only effective if someone is striking it just like any other shield. It cannot block an attack from the side unless angled accordingly and is ineffective if someone is attacking from the rear.

DESCRIPTION
The Warrior, Garrus Garon has always been fond of melee combat. His Brother, Strider Garon occasionally remarking that Garrus could be Mand'alor if he so chose. As Garrus often enjoyed fighting with a Beskad he soon paired that with a shield as it permitted a balanced approach between offense and defense even if soem said it harkened back to less civilized times. The Teroch Shield was designed by Garrus after facing several Jedi in cobmat.

A Teroch Shield resembles a classic Tower Shield in many ways; it is rectangular in design measuring 4' or 48" in height and approximately 2' or 24" in width. The Shields frame is constructed from plasteel so that the weight is manageable though still heavy then beskar is used as an overlay providing the shield with the majority of its defensive properties. On the inside of the shield the wearer affixes it to their forearm using two treated terentatek leather straps, there is also a plasteel handle that can be gripped to aid in mobility and stability.

In practice a Mandalorian using the shield as a breaching device could position it in front of themselves, covering the majority of their body and protecting themselves and their comrades from all manner of enemy fire. In melee combat the Teroch Shield functions much the same way and is capable of deflecting all manner of weapons up to and including lightsabers.

The Teroch Shield was made by Garrus Garon, it is unique to the Mandalorian Warrior however Garrus could conceivably make another accounting for its semi-unique production status.
