DESCRIPTION
Designed by Gred weaponsmiths using similar techniques to the Trayc'kad and Trayc'kal, the Fire Spear is a sleeker weapon with a similar dual function. Unlike the heavy Beskar weapons, the spears are made from songsteel with a combination of forging and casting techniques, and features a notable spear head and somewhat ornate rear club. The two ends allow the weapon to be quite deadly in a melee, and it's not uncommon to see it used in combination with various buckler-type shields, like the Personal Combat Shield. But it's not just its function as a spear that marks this weapon, but it's mounting of either a blaster or a flamethrower.

While they are great weapons, the Fire Spears have their drawbacks. They are fairly large, making them cumbersome in tight spaces, and they're still quite heavy. Along with this, the blaster is difficult to aim properly, and if a flamethrower is used instead, it will generally struggle with armored targets.
