DESCRIPTION
This device is a modernized and miniaturized version of the old Force detectors used by the Empire under the reign of Seev Palpatine. It works by producing an ultrasonic vibration that interacts with the environment. The Manda kyber crystal inside has been tuned by a shaman to be able to resonate when the vibrations interact with the Force. The resonation differs based upon the alignment of the Force user or ability.
It has an easy-to-read screen and can be easily linked to a HUD.
It does not give any indicator of midi-chlorian level and only has an operating detection sphere of 20 meters. Like any electronic, it is susceptible to EMPs than can shut it down if not properly protected, which will require some kind of deionization or repair to get it operational again.
